A.N. Hey, no I haven't died. Or hid in a cave and become a hobo hermit. Nope! The reason I was gone so long was that my laptop was in repair. Sorry! So, my dear fans, here is the next chapter of my most popular story! I hope you like it, vote, fan, feedback!

Alice's POV

I watched as Bella stood there for a moment, unsure, conflict clearly raging behind her eyes.

Then Edward came in the door. He sees Bella, yet the child is hidden from his sight. He does not know the child is there, he is too busy focusing on Bella to hear the others' thoughts. "Bella. My beautiful Bella." He whispers. "Oh Bella, I love you." Bella's bottom lip trembles. Then she gently sets down the child. Before he can react at the sight of the babe, she runs over and kisses him. Jacob runs in...

Or at least I think he does, but perhaps it is Seth or Leah. I cannot see the werewolves in my visions. And although I did wish to have Bella be a part of my family again, I push her towards the door. I knew she would hate herself for the grief she would have caused Jacob if she gave in. The vision is changed as she begins running out the door, Ebony's head clutched to her chest. The vision no longer exists. The possibility gone. I know through another vision that Edward does not see her. Then the door burst open. "Bella!" Came his yell, before his golden eyes settled on us. "Carlisle, where is she?" "I do not know." Edward sniffed the air. "Her scent is here, but it's less recent than her scent in the woods. Oh Carlisle, I think she's in trouble. I was hunting and I... found her blood. On the ground. Her scent is faint... Laurent's scent is strong there. As is the scent of fire. It makes no sense." He sniffed the air again. "Oh God." He ran past us quicker than we could react, into the room where Carlisle took Ebony out of Bella's stomach. Into the room where she changed into a vampire. "Bella's scent. It stops..." He fell on his knees, sobbing tearlessly. "Bella. I promise I will get whoever did this to you." He stood up shakily. "Alice, Carlisle, Jacob and his friends. Come here. Smell this scent. There is a new vampire, and I think he or she did this to Bella. And, there is something else." His face scrunched, although it had already been deformed by pain. "Something I have never smelt before. The smell is so faint..." Suddenly, his eyes flashed angrily. "We have to go! Now!" I couldn't stand it. "Edward! Bella's alive." "Then where's her scent?" I took a deep breath; strange how such an unneeded thing is so comforting. "She's a vampire."

Edward's POV

"She's a vampire." One sentence, simple and straightforward. But I could process it. It made no sense! Bella, my Bella, was human! She wasn't a vampire. But the smell in the air told me a different story. It was definably the scent of a vampire, but it had the faint hint of Bella's old, delicious and unique scent. Yet there was also another scent, a new scent that was barely there. Almost as if the creature had next-to-no scent. But that didn't concern me, only Bella mattered. "Where is she?" "She doesn't want to see you, bloodsucker!" The girl werewolf, whom I believe is named Leah, sneered. "Where is she?" I asked again, pleading to Carlisle and Alice, both of whom shifted uncomfortably. Their thoughts all were on other things, from sports to clothes, trying to keep it hidden from me. "Where is she?" "She left. She had too." I turned on my heel, I would follow her scent. Carlisle's hand grabbed my shoulder. "Leave her be." "Don't you understand? I can't! I love her, and can barely live without her! Without her, I am hollow." The last part was but a whisper in the air, but Jacob responded in the same tone. "So you would take her and leave me in your state?"

Bella's POV

Edward. Edward. Edward.

The way he wants me back.

The way my heart yearns for him.

Alice suddenly pushed me towards the door. Bringing me away.

He went away.

That was all it took for the hole to open once more, causing me to run. I shall not see him. And he shall not see me. Or Ebony. I clutched her as delicately as I could, her head against my chest, as I ran. Wind blew through my hair, and a patch of sunlight fell upon my arm, causing me to glitter like a diamond. Ebony glittered too, although not as brightly. A human could easily say it was a trick of the light. Yet with my vampire eyes, I could see every glitter like a sun. In my arms was my black sun. I dashed through the forest and went to the only place I could think of. Too late, I realized where I was. Too late for I had caught a scent, he was in his home. My senses automatically focused on his scent. Charlie's scent.

Santiago's POV

Forks. What a boring place. So very, very boring. But Aro wanted me to check on the Cullens, we always checked on the vegetarian groups once every now and then. I had already checked that other coven nearby, and they were exactly the same as they were last century. That's when I saw a vampire running through the street, and I quickly hid. She was pretty, I had to admit that. And I could tell she was a newborn, for her eyes were still brown. But what was that she held in her arms? A child. But, the child had barely a scent, not a vampire or a human. Aro would certainly find this very interesting...
