Marry Me? - Chapter 28

ZAYN'S POV

Liam looked over at me.

"Are you sure you want to do this," I nodded my head as Paul directed people to places on the stage. We had set up a stage in the middle of the town we were in. I watched them fix the lighting. I climbed onto the stage and looked around. There were news camera's pointed at me as they finished fixing up the stage. I put my hand on the microphone and looked around me. People were looking at me and stopped walking. And stared at me. Liam stood up beside me and patted my shoulder.

"OK, it's time," I took a breathe and nodded. This was the first time i was EVER going to be doing this all by myself. I tapped my finger on the microphone and looked at the cameras. I saw them all turn on and i closed my eyes for a while then turned to Josh. I nodded and and turned back to the microphone.

"OK this is for one person only, and she's in the hospital right now, fighting for two lives, i hope you can see this," I spoke. I nodded and Josh started to play. I waited and then started to sing, Fix You, by Coldplay. Everyone had stopped and were watching me. Taking pictures and video. I kept singing, looking right at the camera, hoping she would see me.

RIKKI'S POV

I felt tears in my eyes and i rested my hand on my stomach and watched Zayn sing on stage in front of the news cameras. Looking right at them. Louis patted my shoulder and smiled at me. I didn't take my eyes away from the screen. He was doing this for us. T help us. I looked at the bulge under the blanket. They had gotten me here in time. everything was going to be ok. We were going to be ok, the baby was going to live, i was going to live, everything was going to be OK  I looked at the man on screen, and knew that i was totally in love with him. I smiled as the tears fell down my face. He finished and looked right at the screen.

"I love you rikki, and i want to tell the world now, im going to be a dad," He said. I heard people gasping and the cameras moved around to the audience he had made. Some were smiling and clapping. Some weren't. I smiled and tears feel harder. He looked back at the camera and smiled again.

"I'll be by ur side no matter what, and i know this is early, and fast, and totally weird, but Rikki," I saw him kneel down and pull something from his back pocket. A little box. I gasped and covered my mouth with my hand, as tears fell harder down my face,

"Will you marry me?" He smiled at the screen and i nodded my head. I knew he wouldn't see me.

"I'll hear your answer when i get back, i love you" He blew me a kiss and walked off stage and the cameras turned to the reporters. They muted the TV and everyone looked at me. I didn't look back at them, i was too shocked. My hands were shaking and i could barely feel a little kick in me. I closed my eyes and smiled. I was going to say yes, of course i was, i wold be stupid not too. I layed my head back and waited for him to walk into the room.

ZAYN'S POV.

We pulled up infront of the hospital and i hopped out and almost ran towards the hospital doors. Liam put his hands on my shoulders and made me walk inside. Harry was walking towards us and he smiled at me.

"Were is she?" He waved his hand and i followed him down the hallway. Liam's hand never left my shoulder. Harry opened a door and i walked in. Rikki was being helped out of bed. She looked up at me and smiled. I smiled and walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her and kissed the top of her head. She laughed lightly.

"Hey," She said against my chest. I looked down at her and cupped her face in my hands. I looked into her eyes and saw only pure love. She smiled at me.

"Soo," I asked. My heart was pounding in my chest. She rested her hand on mine and looked me in the eyes for a couple more mintues. Louis groaned beside me.

"OH MY GOSH, answer him will you," We both laughed and she looked back up at me.

"Of course," A smile broke over my face and i hugged her tightly. She hugged me back and put her face in my neck. I kissed the top of her head, then her forehead, her cheek, the edge of her nose and then her lips, cupping her face in my hands again. She laughed and kissed me back. I then realized everyone was cheering. She laughed again and looked around. I grabbed her hand and slipped the ring on her finger and looked her in the eyes.

"I will love you, forever and always," She smiled and kissed me again, wrapping her arms around my neck. I kissed her back and rested my forehead on hers and looked her in the eyes.

"Forever and always," She said. I smield I don't know how i had ever left her before, i don't know how i had broken her heart, she was the only girl i had ever wanted to marry. But now i was and i knew i would never be happier. I kissed her again and held her closed to me. I lvoed her with all my heart, i wasn't going to lose her, no matter what.
