Breathe Of Life 10- Chapter

Rikki's POV

Beep beep beep, I moved my head from left to right, my lids were to heavy to open. I moved my hand and felt along myself. I was under a blanket, a scratchy one. I touched my other hand and found wires  coming out of it, so i knew i must have had wires coming out of the other hand. I heard a low beeping beside me and frowned a little. were the heck was i. My heart streted to race as i started to get worried. I heard conversation mutted by something. I willed my eyes open and winced. The light was bright. To bright. I tried to sit up and felt a pain in my side, sending a sspasm through my body. I took some deep breathes and gripped my side. My heart racing even more. I saw i was in a room. Hooked up to alot a machines. Someone was talking on the other side of the wall. Soon a lady opened the door and walked in and smiled at me,

"its good to see you awake," I looked around me as she walked over and fixed the monitar. It slowed down and i layed back. The pain slowly fading. She looked over at me and smiled.

"You gave everyone here a scare, we thought you werent going to make it with all the unjuries you had," I frowned at her. She raised an eyebrow.

"Do you not remeber," I shook my head. She patted my hand.

"You were attacked, your lucky you had that young man come when he did," I closed my eyes then remebered everything. The boys cornering me, hitting me. A car door slaming shut. Zayn. I shot my eyes open and looked at her. She smiled and nodded and walked out without saying anything. I looked at the wires again and around the room. There were flowers and stuffies. The door opened and i turned towards it. Zayn walked in. He looked right at me and all the stress i had seen was gone. A smile split his face and he almost ran over and grabbed my hand. He looked down at me and moved hair from my face. He winced at the wounds and i could see the anger.

"Im sorry i wasnt there eraly enough," I shook my head.

"You saved me," I whispered. I couldnt talk any louder. he sat down and looked at me hand and sighed.

"Rikki, why did you leave," I looked at the roof, and tried not to look at him, because if i did, i was for sure going to tell him everything. I heard him get up and put his finger under ym chin and moved my face towars him. he made me look in his eyes.

"Rikki...why," I closed my eyes and sighed.

"Because im dragging you down, i made you late, and im only going to drag you down even more, and i dont want to ruin your carreer," He pressed his lips lightly against mine and looked me in the eye.

"Rikki, why would you ever think that," I looked down at my hands and shrugged.

"Well, i love you, and nothing will EVER change that, you scared me half to death when i saw you being beat like that, i was so scared i was going to lose you," I clsoed ym eyes as tears wiled up and he made me look at him again.

"Rikki, you understand, i dont ever want anyone but you and you will never drag me down," I nodded and he kissed me again, resting his forehead on mine. Closing his eyes. I sighed and closed mine, keeping my hand with his,

"I love you," I whispered. I heard him smile and he kissed me again.
