Confused, Happy and sad, to much - Chapter 8

Chapter 8...

"RIKKI!" Ariel yelled from the other side of my door. I opened my eyes and covered them with my hand. The sun was shining in the window. I rubbed my face and tryed to sit up. I felt someone's leg under my hand. i shot up and looked down. Zayn was laying on the couch. Fast alseep. I must have fallen alseep while we had been watching the movie and he hadnt woken me. i smiled and got up , running my fingers through my hair. I opened my door and Ariel stood there. Her hands on her hips. I smiled at her.

"Morning," She shook her head.

"I've been knocking on your door for 20 mintues," I shurgged.

'Sorry i was asleep," She looked at me. I looked down and saw that i was still in my clothes. I sighed.

"I fell asleep in my clothes ok, dont judge," She sighed and tryed to push herself inside my dorm room. I blocked her way and shook my head. She looked up at me confused.

"What? i wanna come in," I shook my head again and thought of what i could say,

"Its a real mess and i dont want you to see it,' She rollled her eyes,

"Oh come on, i've seen your place messy," She pushed inside before i could stop her and she froze by the door. She was staring at the person passed out on my couch. She opened her mouth as her eyes widened. I slapped my hand over her mouth and pushed her out into the hall and closed the door behind me, of COURSE not before making sure it was unlocked, and looked at her. Her eyes where still wide. I rolled my eyes.

"Was that Zayn Malik laying on your couch asleep?" I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair again, i didnt want this to happen. I nodded. She screetched and grabbed my hands and jumped up and down. I looked at her and smiled.

"OMG thats perfect, i KNEW he would like you, i just KNEW it," She exclaimed. I smiled and felt my facce go red as the memory from what happened last night filled my memory. I was hoping she would see the blush as her freaking out over what she saw but i knew she was smarter then that. She stopped bouncing.

"What? did something else happen....OMG!" She yelled I shook my head and covered her mouth with my hand again.

"NO, that didnt happen, we just......" I moved my hand away from her mouth and looked at the floor. She shook me.

"WHHAAATTTT!" I smiled and made her stop shaking me.

"We kissed," She screamed and i wrapped my arm around her neck and clamped my hand over her mouth and moved her down the hallway and to the elevator and then outside. I let go and looked at her. I rasied my hands in the air. She smiled and grabbed them and twirled me around.

"ZAYN MALIK IS IN LOVE WITH RIKKI HOLZWARTH!" She exclaimed. I laughed and shook my head over and over as she reapted the same thing over and over. Finally she stopped and looked at me and nodded.

"Yes he is, accept it Rikki, he is," I looked at her a little longer then felt my face go red and i ran ym fingers through my hair, this was becoming a bad habit. She laughed and then turned and started to walk away.

"Were are you going?" i called after her, she looked back.

"LEaving you to alone," I shook my head and headed back to my dorm. I walked in and saw Zayn was still sleeping. his phone vibrated on the coffee table. I picked it up. it was Niall.

DUDE were are you?! we have rehershals today, you know that! 

I gasped and quickly typed back,

Niall, this is Rikki, sorry, he feel alseep on my couch, and we both totally forgot, i'll wake him up and we will be there as soon as we can!

I shook his shoulder 5 times before he finally woke up. he looked at me and smiled. He leaned forward and kissed my lightly. I smiled then remeberd why i had woken him up.

"Your late for rehersals," He gaped at me and shot up and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Crap," I got up and grabbed his shoulders.

"Dont worry, Main Street isnt far form here, i can have you there in 10 minutes flat," He smiled and hugged me.

"Thanks," I grabbed my coat and car keys and we headed out. I was right. 10 mintues later we where wlaking up to the stage. Niall and Harry smiled at me.

"Thanks," Harry said and pushed him back stage to get dressed and ready. he looked back and blew me a kiss. I blushed and walked to a chair in the audiecne and sat down. The drummers and quitar players where tunning. I pulled out my phone and texted Ariel,

im at thier rehersal, 

I put it away as they all came out on stage. I whistled at them and Louis danced up to the front of the stage, moving his hips from side to side. I laughed and clapped and whistled again. Zayn smiled at me and hoped off stage and sat beside me. Throughing his arm over my shoulder and looked up at the stage.

"Good spot," I nodded and looked up also. Niall was on Harry's back and he was running him around the stage with a mircophone yelling,

"POTATOES, POTATOES, POTATOES!" I laughed and felt Zayn laugh beside me. I smiled and looked up as Paul walked on stage.

"We're letting people in, in about 7 minutes, so get back stage," Zayn got up and grabbed my hand bringing me back with him. I followed him and didnt ask any questions, he sat me down on a chair as Paul rushed them out on stage. I smiled and sat back. Soon the music started and i heard them singing. I moved to a place where i could see up on stage. he looked so happy up there. Then i realzied something. I wasnt famous. by hanging out with him, i was making him late for rehersals and concerts and interviews, i was dragging him down. I moved away from the open look at the stage as my heart slowly broke. I was going to lose him when we went on tour and lef the dorm. I looked up and saw him smile as he sang and moved to leave, he wasnt going to miss me. I was making everything hard for him. I turned and left backstage as the tears spilled over. not turning back. If i loved him...i would let go and let him do his job and drag him down.
