Chapter 31 - Meet Kimberly

RIKKIS POV

They rushed me to the hospital, the ambulance was going to take too long. The pain had gotten worse and even more painful then when i was at the house. Zayn had stayed at my side the whole ride telling me everything was going to be OK, to take deep breathes and just try to relax. They rolled me into a room and got me to lay down on a bed. I gripped Zayn's hand tightly and bit my bottom lip as another pain shot through me. He rubbed my hand with his other one and kept telling me to breathe. I just nodded and tried to focus on something OTHER then the pain coming from my stomach. Soon the doctor spoke up.

"We need you to push OK  when i saw 3, push as hard as you can," I nodded and waited as he counted down and shouted 3 and i pushed. Zayn tighten his grip on my hand. The doctor said 3 again and i pushed again. The doctor took a breathe.

"We can see the head, one more time sweety," He yelled three and i pushed again and soon heard the sound of a crying baby. I layed back in the bed and closed my eyes, taking deep breathes and listening to the baby cry's  Soon a nurse walked over and layed the baby in my arms. I looked down at her. A baby girl. I smiled. She had black hair, like Zayn's  She wiped at her face with her tiny fists and then looked up at me with my own big blue eyes. I smiled again and kissed her forehead and kept looking at her. 

"Kimberly Jane Michelle Malik," I said. I looked up at Zayn and he smiled.

"Sounds perfect to me," I smiled back and looked down at her. I looked up at the doctor.

"Could you ask Louis to come in," He nodded and walked out of the room and soon Louis walked in. A smile on his face. He walked over to the side of the bed. I smiled and handed Kimberly over to him.

"Say hi to your godchild, godfather," His face lite up as he looked down at her. he cooed and bounced her lightly.

"Well hello there," he looked at me.

"Kimberly Jane Michelle Malik," He laughed and looked down at her.

"Hell there Kim, i'm Louis, and let me tell you, i'm going to be the best godfather ever, i already bought half your clothes," I laughed lightly and put my head back on the pillow and watched him. Soon he handed her over to Zayn. I watched is reaction. He smiled down at her and i saw tears form in his eyes. He started to lightly sing to her and rock her back and forth, she looked back up at him, wrapping her tiny hand around his finger. My eye lids started to drop as he kept singing. And soon i closed my eyes and feel asleep.


ZAYNS POV

Rikki feel asleep and i looked at the doctor.

"Can i bring her out to everyone," he smiled.

"Why not," I smiled back and walked out of the room. Not taking my eyes from the little person in my arms. Her hand wrapped tightly around my finger. She had my hair, no doubt about it, and her big blue eyes. And little nose. She looked around the hallway at every noise and every movement, totally taken aback at the things she was seeing and hearing. I smirked and kissed her forehead. She looked back at me and moved her hands to her chest then back out for my finger. I let her grab hold of it as we walked into the waiting area. Harry saw me first and stood up. Then everyone else followed.

"She's the cutest thing, going to be a looker when she gets older," Louis said, i had totally forgotten he had been there. Harry walked forward with Liam and Niall. I smiled and moved her a certain way so they could all see her. Harry and Liam both cooed at her and Niall made faces. I laughed lightly and looked over to my mom. She walked over and i put Kim into her arms. She looked down at her and smiled.

"She's a good mix of both of you, isn't she," I smiled and nodded, putting my hands in my pockets.

"Yeah she is,"

"Well, Lou was right, she is going to be a looker," Harry said, i looked at him,

"Yeah, if you try to hit on her, your dead," he raised his hands in the air.

"Hey, by the time she's 18, i'll be an old bugger," Niall and Liam laughed and i smiled and mom put Kim back in my arms.

"What's her name?"

"Kimberly Jane Michelle Malik," She nodded.

"Perfect, i'd say," I smiled and sighed.

"I should take her back," They all nodded and i turned and headed back to the room. When i got there, there was a little bed laying beside Rikki's bed. I layed Kim down in it and soon she feel asleep herself. I sat down in a chair and watched the two people i loved with all my heart, sleeping peacefully and knew, my life wasn't going to get any better.
