The race didn't take long. We got there in a short time, once again with Bee losing. The yellow and black striped car growled, opening the door and letting the little red headed girl out. Whiplash did the same, still chuckling softly about his victory.
All three of us stood back as the large robots stood, Sari immediately running to Bumblebee as he picked her up, mirrored by Thornly. I chuckle as I walk over to lean up against the black and red striped 'bots foot. "That was a good race, Whip!" Sari chirped, shifting on Bumblebee's shoulder. Bee huffed, Rolling his... 'eyes'.
"How do you drive so fast?! I'm the fastest 'Bot on wheels! How did you beat me?!" He mumbled, crossing his arms over his chest.
Whiplash shrugged, making us shift closer to his head. A smile formed on his face, mimicking Bee as he crossed his arms over his chest. "I'm just meant for speed. That's why the 'Cons didn't really enjoy me; I couldn't fly. But I don't mind, I like my wheels." His chest rumbled, the sound of a engine revving strumming from his broad chest. The tires on his arms spun, making small ticks and 'whirr' ing noises.
Bumblebee opened his mouth to say something, but stopped short as the sound of sirens filled the air. Suddenly a black and orange blurr shot past the 'Bots feet, shooting up the ramp. It stopped, and where it had stopped stood a man. He wore a black and orange striped suite and hat, a large, filled bag slung over his shoulder.
An arrow shot past Whip's head, making him gasp and stumble back. A cord Zipped behind it, the arrow itself getting stuck in a nearby building. A little man in a robin hood suite flew by, holding a grappling hook.
Bee and Whip exchanged looks, then back at the two odd men.
"Uhm... lemme guess, they shouldn't have whatever is in that bag?" Whip asked, pointing his thumb towards the retreating men. Bee sighed and nodded. "their names are 'Nanosec' and 'Angry Archer'. They're part of a group called SUV, or society of ultimate villainy." Bee explained.
Whip nodded, setting us down and transforming back into vehicle mode. "Well, C'mon! Let's go get 'em!" Whiplash chimed happily, revving his engine. A thrilled Thornly hopped into the back, rolling down the window and excitedly sticking her head out the window.
"It's not that easy, but I do think I have an idea how to get them." Bumblebee smiled cleverly, setting Sari down and turning back into his yellow car mode. He opened the door for Sari, who hoped in excitedly, but the back and driver door opened as well. I tilt my head at him. He shifts side to side, the doors wobbling.
"Okay, here's how the plan goes. You two do a little hide out with me and Sari, prowl style. While we do that, Whiplash, you need to act like someone left you by the road, so when they see you, they use you as a getaway. Let them go for a little bit then I chase you, lights and sirens, and then you nab 'em!" The yellow car chirped.
There was a momentary silence, then Whiplash's engine rumbled. The back door clicked open, and Thornly slowly crawled out, looking like she had just gotten in trouble. "Fine," The Black car mumbled. "But if these two get in any trouble, game's off."
Thornly and I Strode over to the small yellow car, Thornly leaping into the back and me taking a seat next to Sari in the front. It felt so weird, sitting 'inside' of a living thing, but what had to be done had to be done, and this would be a good opportunity for Whiplash.
Thonly had already started to chat and laugh with Sari, Bumblebee sometimes cutting in a few times as we started to drive away, Whiplash in the lead.
************************************* Time Skip: A Few Minutes Later**************************************
Never before have I been so bored...
Bumblebee was parked in an alleyway, Whiplash parked next to the sidewalk across the street from us. I swear, I could almost hear him snoring from here.
Suddenly two figures leaped onto the sidewalk in front of us, a long feather poking out of the shorter figures giving away their identities pretty quickly. Just as planned, they walked across the street carefully, looking Whiplash over slowly and hurriedly climbing in. Whip's engine rumbled to life, soon the screeching of tires was the only noise that was left of our giant car friend.
Bumblebee's dashboard lit up, a small red blinking light speeding across a map. The door on my side transformed into his arm, a little red siren light in his hand and he reached up to his hood. His arm transformed again, and the door closed. A red light lit up the outside of his hood and he sped off, a siren screaming from the light.
After a couple of minutes we caught up to a familiar bumper. His siren blared loudly for a moment, his voice going over what seemed to be a megaphone. "Pull over! I repeat, PULL OVER!" He commanded.
Whiplash jerked to the side, his tires screeching as he stopped quickly. He transformed, standing up and facing Bee, a large smile on his face. The Angry Archer was in his left hand, while Nanosec was in his Right. They struggled, trying to free themselves from his large hands, but all in vain. "I did it! I was a Hero!" Whip exclaimed happily.
More sirens came from behind us. I looked back, as did Thornly. About three cars pulled up behind us, one that looked like a dirty version of Bumblebee coming next to us. A large, heavy set man stepped out, facing Whiplash, a megaphone close to his lips.
"Release them to us, Robot. We'll handle the rest from here." He ordered. I hop out, Thornly on my hips as we walk towards Whiplash. He looks down to us questioningly, his eyes filled with wonder. I smile and lay my hand on his leg.
"You did a good job big guy, now you need to set them down in front of those men in black, they can handle the rest." I stated, pointing over to the men dressed exactly the same.
He nods, setting them down slowly so the men can surround the two, who were quickly cuffed. The police cars pulled away, the new prisoners in the back of the middle car. The bulky man looked Whiplash up and down, then looked to us. "Friends of yours?" He motioned towards the yellow car and the tall robot next to us.
Thornly pipes up. "Yeah! His name is Whiplash, and he rescued us from those bad robot guys!" She chirped happily. The man sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Great... another Robot..." He mumbled. I tilt my head, raising an eyebrow. "Just, stay outta trouble, would''ya?" he asked, walking back to his car and peering at us over the dingy door.
Whiplash nodded rapidly, a broad smile on his face.
The man got back in, closing the door, and drove away. Whiplash transformed back into a car next to us. Thornly yawned, tiredly crawling into the backseat and curling up on the black leather. I couldn't help but stretch either, I was tired as well. I quickly got in, closing the door and curling up against it.
The world faded into black as the heater kicked on, the radio playing softly. I only heard one thing before I drifted off.
