"Girls, stand back." Whiplash's voice echoed above us.
I look up, seeing the backside of Whiplash facing just above us. His eyes flicker over to us, soft red meeting blue-ish grey. I shake my head a bit, and he tilts his head at me.
"No, don't. They don't want to hurt us Whip, I don't think." I say, placing a gentle hand on the inside of his leg. The cool metal seems to have a warm sense to it, and I smile a bit. Thornly wiggles around me and wraps his leg in a hug, as much as her arms could reach around the large leg.
A small coo greeted our ears, and a short red haired girl ran out in front of Bumblebee, clapping her hands together and putting them next to her cheek as she 'aww'ed.
"Sari?! What are you doing here?!" The tall blue and red one barked, but 'sari' didn't even flinch at his tone. She just turned to him with a smile, putting her finger under her chin.
"I heard there was trouble, so I thought I could come and help!" She stated matter-of-factly to him. The blue bot groaned and pinched his 'nose' (if they even had one). He turned to the red and white bot.
"Ratchet, get these girls and sari out of harms way." He commanded. I suppose he must've been the leader, his tone very commanding yet, friendly in some places.
I suddenly felt like I was being lifted, like my body was weightless. My legs raised over my head and I yelped, now hanging upside down in the air, just barely trying to grasp at Whiplash's leg. I couldn't move my head, so my eyes flicker over to Thornly who had a death grip on Whip's leg.
We were raised higher until we could see Whip's chest, his face having shock written all over it. He lunged forward and wrapped his hands around us, trying to hold us back from this odd pink force that was pulling us. It suddenly stopped, and we relaxed in Whip's closed hands. He drew his hands back to his chest, holding us close.
"Wait! Please, let me explain myself. I'd never hurt these two, you've got to believe me. I've changed, I promise you Prime." Whiplash's voice rumbles in his chest, making it sound to me like a car engine revving softly.
I wiggle out of Whiplash's hold a bit until he opens his hands flat for us. They were even bigger from this angle, but Whip didn't seem to be scared or anything like that.
The blue robot sighs. "Alright, but be warned: if you try anything, we will stop you. You may say you've changed, but we have to be sure." He says, putting the glowing axe away in some kind of compartment behind him. His right hand motions over to the other, his left hand on his chest.
"My name is Optimus Prime, and this is my team." He motions to the Red and white ambulance. "My medic, Ratchet." Ratchet simply grumbles about something and turns away. He points to the black and gold motorcyclist. "Prowl." He points to The last two. "And you've already met Bumblebee and Bulkhead. We are a faction of sentient robots from the planet Cybertron, but we are known as Autobots for short." He finishes.
Whiplash's eyes flicker with awe, and he nods his head. "My name is Whiplash, Sir." He states.
My eyes flicker over to Sari as she climbs up onto Bumblebee's shoulder. "And I'm Sari!" She chirps happily. Thornly waves happily, smiling over at the other girl. "I'm Thornly!" She chimes, making the other girl smile as well.
Thornly points at me. "And This is my sister Rachel!" I feel a blush creep across my cheeks as everyone's eyes are on me. I wave a bit and crawl back on Whip's hand, Making him chuckle.
Optimus laughs as well, then turns and faces his team. "Alright Autobots, transform and roll out back to the base!" He commands, a little less angry this time. They all transform back to their car forms casually waiting for Whiplash.
Whiplash sets up down by his feet and slowly gets on his knees, parts of him moving and hiding his arms and his head, soon the Black and red Camaro was sitting in front of us, both front door and back door open for us. Thornly is already skipping up to the door, quickly climbing in. Whiplash jerks forward a bit, bumping the door against my side.
I smile and roll my eyes, looking over and seeing Sari's little red pony-tails bouncing as she talks to Bumblebee's dashboard. I hop in, the door closing on it's own. The seat-belt wraps around my hips and chest. Whiplash rolls up next to Bumblebee, revving his engines challengingly at him.
I growl at the dashboard. "This is what got us in trouble in the first place, Whip. Don't." I warn. The radio sighs and his engines stop revving just as bumblebee starts inching forward. "See! He wants to race! C'mon Rache, one little race!" He begs, slowly inching forward to meet up with Bumblebee's bumper.
I look through the tinted windows and spot Sari, smiling and holding onto the wheel, ready to go. I sigh and nod my head.
He once again revs his engines, cheering happily, making his voice sound like a group of cheering people.
"Ready?" Bumblebee warned, and I could just see the smirk in his voice. Whiplash chuckled, inching forward a bit more.
"Ready as I'll ever be. Start on three?"
"Alright. 3....2....1, go!" Bumblebee took off, followed by Whiplash. I look back, laughing as I see The others struggling to catch up, or stop us. but nothing could catch up to these two racing bots. We streak down the road easily, beating bumblebee y an inch as we got to an old abandoned looking building.
Bumblebee mumbled about how 'he was the fastest car in detroit', which only made Whiplash laugh.
I have a feeling that this new life of ours was going to be odd, but in favor of saving our parents, I was all for it.
