This day couldn't possibly get worse, could it?

*Rachel's P.O.V*

After negotiating with an over-protective Whiplash and a concerned Thornly that I was well enough to be alone, they finally, though a little forced, let me be for a moment. Although, I'm fairly sure that transforming into Whiplash's car form and parking below the table doesn't necessarily count as 'alone time'. But, I didn't mind him being there, the soft rumble of the engine and the soft music Thornly was playing almost helped to sooth a headache that was coming on from sitting up too quickly.

After relaxing for an hour by reading a book Prowl had leant me, time started to bore me. Whiplash and probably Thornly were asleep below me, the soft rumbles and hums of his engines almost a pure give away. A small smile crossed my face as I closed ym eyes, trying to drift off as well. The hiss of the door sliding open had me fully awake again.

In strode Jazz, Bulkhead and the jet twins. I smiled warmly at them as they entered. Whiplash stirred beneath me, rocking side to side as the passenger door flew open, surprising me how they didn't just fly off the hinges. Thornly instantly ran out, tackling Jetfire's leg in a large hug, or as large as she could muster.

"Jetfire!" She squealed happily against the metal of his leg. Jetfire chuckled and leaned over, picking her up and poking her stomach, making her curl up and laugh. "I be missing you too, Little Thornly." He laughed, giving her another poke.

Slowly I stood on the table, my knees wobbling a little from not standing or walking for a while. My knees buckled and I fell to my knees. Instantly Jazz, Bulkhead, and Jetstorm trotted over. "Hey little lady, are ya a'right?" Jazz asked, holding out his finger in front of me in case I tried to stand again. I gave him a small smile and nodded.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I just haven't stood in a while, so I have to slowly get back to my feet. I'm fine though." I assured him, getting into a cross-legged position. He nodded, a small smile on his face. "Well, glad to be hearing you are being better." Jetstorm smiled, kneeling down so his arms and head rested on the table. "Thanks Storm." I smile, rubbing the back of my head.

"Well, boys, we better head off back ta tha ship. Oh and Rache? If ya ever wanna go fer a ride, just call me, sweet-spark." And with that he headed out the door, the Twins dissapointedly following. I smiled at his retreating form. After the room was mainly cleared, Bulkhead stepped up, a clamped hand hovering over a place next to me. I tilted my head up at him.

"I brought you some things to do if you get bored in here." He gave his large, grizzly bear smile at me, making me instantly smile wider. His large three digits slowly opened, a small pile of art supplies dropping on the table. My eyes widened.

"Woah! Bulk! Where did you get this stuff from?!" I asked astonished. He rubbed the back of his head with his large hand, slight groaning noises coming from his shoulders.

"Sari got them for me, but since I can't hold them," He clamped his large hand for emphasis. "I thought maybe you could use them." He said.

I looked over the pile and smiled. The pile was made up of paper, crayons, markers, paints, and brushes. "Thanks big guy, this is amazing." I said, putting my hand on his. He smiled and turned and left.

Whiplash rumbled loudly under me, and I could hear him transform and crawl out from under the table. His face looked less then enthused.

"What's up with you big guy?" I chuckle at his behavior, shifting so I could be comfortable again. He huffed and turned to me, almost a sad look on his face.

"Jazz was flirting with you! He acted like he didn't see me!" He bellowed. I raised my eyebrow and shook my head. "Don't worry big guy, I only see him as a friend, he just offered a ride. Are you... jealous?" I couldn't help but smirk as he fumbled with words to say at what I had just inquired.

"I-I, N-no! of course I'm not j-jealous!" he mumbled, crossing his arms. "Then it was no big deal! I only ride with one guy." I stated. He looked at me with question in his eyes. "Who's this guy?! Do I have to go kick some tail-pipe?!" He asked, acting like he was cracking his fingers. I roll my eyes and laugh. "You, ya big nut!" I laughed, once again trying to stand up. This time I lasted longer then before, but just as I leaned forward to take a step, my knees buckled.

I stood still, slowly getting the feeling back in my legs as I held onto Whip's chest. His chest was warm and almost felt comforting, pulsing with an unseen force. After a moment I stood, my legs just barely shaking anymore.

"Hey Rachel?" Whip asked, His voice vibrating under my hand. I looked up, carefully standing straight. "Yeah big guy?" I ask, tilting my head.

He looked off as If he were unsure of himself. "Do you want to go for a ride? I have some place I want to show you." His now blue eyes glinted with hope. I nodded my head with a smile, and just as fast he scooped me up and we were walking out of the room. I looked around at his feet, looking for the little brunette girl.

"Hey, Whip? Where's Thornly? I ask. He gives me a smile as he holds me to his chest. "She went to tell the others that you're okay and to go play with Sari, they are apparently going out with Bulkhead." He said, putting me on the ground so he could transform. The passenger door popped open and I happily and carefully made my way over and plopped down in the seat.

The seatbelt zipped across my vision and snugly held me in. The holograph of Whiplash took his place in the driver seat  and he was off, driving down the road.

We rode in a calm silence, suddenly turning off the road and heading close to the forest. He stopped, unbuckling the seat. The door popped open and I got out, looking around. It was beautiful.

We were on top of a hill, pointing out towards the city. The sun was slowly setting, giving the city a faint golden color. Suddenly I was laying on my back on Whiplash's hood, the hologram of himself laying next to me, watching it slowly go down. Slowly I crept closer to him, a warmth seeming to radiate off of him. His arm wrapped around my shoulder and pulled me close, my head resting on his chest. It felt so real, as if it weren't a giant robot's hologram, but an actual human boy.

Suddenly a loud laugh came from behind us and I flung around. It couldn't be...

Behind us, in the edge of the forest stood Callie, holding Jack in a headlock. Jack struggled to breathe and reach out to us, but Callie simply held tighter and pulled him back. Behind her was the silhouette of a large robot, large wings sticking up next to his broad face.

"Well, well. look what we have here, the perfect couple." She made a gag noise. "Well, now that you're here, I can finally destroy you for my glorious leader." And with that said, the Giant robot lunged at Whiplash, making the car roll down the hill. I screamed Whiplash's name, heading to run down the hill until a large blast stopped me.

I spun around, staring at Callie who held a gun, pointing it at my feet.

"It was nice knowing ya, but now we must say goodbye." She cackled, aiming it at my chest.
