As much as I wanted to say how much I'm enjoying it here, I can't.
I've barely talked to any of them. Harry, Hermione, and Ron act almost uncomfortable with me. Like we haven't known each other since first year. Ginny does whatever Harry does. I've never been too close with George but lately as my best friends chose to ignore me, he's been there. Along with Fred.
I still have to talk to him, he's stopped pushing it, but he still looks at me weird if I'm next to Harry.
I also just miss Draco, and Blaise. Even Theo's sarcasm. Almost everyone here is just driving me insane. No I don't want to sit awkwardly trying to act normal with the trio. No I don't want to receive anymore glares from Ginny.
"Breakfast tea?" Hermione questions me, walking out from the house with two cups in her hand. The wind swings her hair around her shoulders. She smiles widely, taking in the view I had of all the boys chasing each other. Molly had taken all of the brooms, as outside was below freezing.
It didn't stop them.
Hermione sits into the coven I'm in, filled with different quilts and pillows, to escape from the freezing wind. I nod. She waves her wand. A kettle appears in front of us both, the steam warms my face and I take my hands onto the cup.
We settle into the pillows, and make small talk. It isn't awkward, but it warms me up as memories veil into my head.
"Hermione! You are telling me bloody Victor Krum asked you to the yule ball?" I gasp, smiling wide. Hermione blushes.
"Shhh," She looks around us in the library, even knowing we were alone. "He asked me when studying. He's always been in the library when I've been, I didn't know what to say so I nodded and legit ran away!" Her face turns to horror after seeing my reaction. "Was that not the thing to do? Well, obviously it wasn't but -oh my merlin- will he take it back?"
"Its fine, it's fine. Of course he won't." I pat my quill against lip, remembering, "Isn't he a 7th year? As in 18?"
"Well yes. Isn't Fred two years above us as well?" She smiles, and my mouth widens.
"I do not like Fred- He's too old."
"-and he's Ron's brother." She finishes for me.
Harry and George run over to both of us, shivering. I throw a blanket at Fred, who runs behind them.
George catches it and runs into the house, laughing. He pokes his head back out of the house only thirty seconds later, realizing Fred wasn't chasing him.
Fred squishes into the corner next to me.
His hands fall onto my legs, sending shivers down my back, but only because they were cold enough to feel through my jeans. I move away as I feel Harry's eyes drill into my skull.
"We want to go to Hogsmeade today, George and I want to go." Fred whispers in my ear, quiet enough for everyone else stop the conversation they had.
"With who?"
"It depends. It can just be all three of us if you want..." he looks back to the rest of them and back to me giving me a knowing nod. "It might be hard to leave without Harry on your heels about me though."
I stutter, looking back at Harry who stares directly at us. "There's no shame in trying, right?" I whisper back to Fred. I open my book with a smile on my face.

I sit in my room, looking for a warm enough coat, maybe I can borrow Hermione or Ginny's. Ginny's glares settle through my mind- You know what, I'll just wear mine.
Its only been three days after Christmas, all decorations should still be up. Which means lots of people. I smile thinking about Draco pushing me through the crowds, with a hand on my elbow making sure I'm not left behind.
And inside the Meade Den...
"Oh please, I just think it's revolting the way you let them touch you, is all." Moving his hand down my back, giving me goosebumps.
"Almost like how you're touching me now?" I whisper.
"Precisely," whispering back. The difference is they don't touch me like they mean it. Not like they are trying to get this reaction out of me.
"We should probably go find them now," I say without moving away.
"You're probably right..." he nods.
Someone knocks on my door, and I run to open it, very much startled from spacing out. It has to be one of the boys considering the girls won't knock since this is also their room.
Fred smiles at me, "We want to leave at ten past four. Is that okay?" He follows me into the room and closes the door gently.
"I'm about ready now, so that's okay." I nod to the door, "Molly won't like that."
"She couldn't give a fuck, she's making dinner. Harry on the other hand..."
"Oh be quiet about him. Harry and I have never been a thing." I hold up a jacket and he nods. As I only brought two not warm enough jackets, I now had to change my outfit to match the second one.
"Do I quote you on this? 'ThE diFFreNce iS FrEd'-"
"Stop it." I pick up the lacey bra he was silently fixated on, that sits on top of the bed. He widens his eyes looking from it and then back to me.
"When did it happen?"
"Last year. About two and a half months after you got a girlfriend." I turn away from him. "It was the morning after a party, Harry brought me to his room that night and we got caught in a moment waking up. It was only ever casual."
"Last year?" He asks.
I nod.
"And how many times this year?"
"Only the one time. I haven't been hanging out with them as much." I say swallowing.
"It should've been me, something special. I'm sorry." I turn back to him, his eyes still sparkle at me.
"It's fine, at least it was Harry and not..." I find myself about to say Draco. Even when it's completely not true. My mind was back to last year for a moment
"Not a scumbag like Malfoy." He pauses looking at me, "Or Zabini..."
"Blaise is perfectly nice, Fred. Dra- Malfoy, has been more, pleasant, this year."
He rolls my mistake off his shoulders, pretending I hadn't said anything. "I somehow don't believe that. Unless you..."
"We need to get going now, before it gets busy." George abruptly says, opening my door wide. I smile at him gratefully with my heart pounding through my chest. How could Fred possibly suspect something? Does he suspect something?
We all walk downstairs, ready to go. Molly smiles at us. Harry bites his cheek, while Ginny next to him, rolls her eyes.
"We'll be back tonight," George says, hugging Molly.
"Not too late boys, Y/n can't be out past her bedtime." Harry says, but only to me. He tried to say it sarcastically but it came out bitter.
Fred grabs my elbow and walks me to the fireplace hastily, where he whispers, "Hogsmeade."
