COLORS, if it will be mixed properly, you can create a wonderful piece of art. I believe that without colors, everything will be plain and boring.

I've painted my life using different colors. Unfortunately, as of this moment, my life is so dark and I don't know how can I escape from this. My world is full of friendly faces but greedy hearts. Most of them choose comforting lies over unpleasant truths.

"Sydney! Nandito na ang mga bisita mo!" I heard Yaya Conchita's voice. I put down the paint brush and directed to our living room.

Yaya Conchita was serving  foods and drinks on them.

"S-Sydney?ikaw ba talaga 'yan?" Faith smiled looking at me. "Ang ganda-ganda mo!"

I looked down, nakakahiya tuloy.  I understand why Faith is gushing over me now. This is the first time she sees me being me.

"Ikaw talaga Faith," I sat down. "Thanks for coming anyway."

"It's an honor, kasi nakita ko na 'yung mukha mo, na ano-- na walang coverage ng make-up and disguise," she held her cheeks. "Nakakatulala 'yang ganda mo!"

I softly laughed shaking my head.

"Kumain ka na lang, because we'll do a lot of brainstorming later," Kye tapped his head. But when he looked at me, he cowardly dodged his gaze away.

What's wrong with him?

"Oo nga pala Sydney, ano ba 'yung mga ipapakita mo sa'min?" itinigil ni Faith ang pag-nguya.

"Nasa room sa taas, tara?"

The two stood. I led them the way to the old room of dad.

When we reached the room, I opened the cabinet where I kept all those things.

"Here...these are the stuffs I found, and the rest of the pictures I gathered," I sat down on the bed and I opened the red envelope where the letter of certain Kathleya was written for dad.

"A letter? Anong meron dito?" Faith asked and she read it. "Sino si Kathleya? Tinanong mo ba 'to sa dad mo?"

I shook my head, "hindi pa...I can't make a call, baka ma trace ako rito."

"How about that gun?" Kye pointed it out.

"Kay tito Orlando 'yan, I just kept it for a reason I don't know," I massage my forehead.

"At ito?" kinuha ni Faith ang pendant design necklace. "Kathleya ulit?"

I nodded, "I really doubt on that Kathleya ever since."

"How about these pictures?" Kye took the picture of tita Helena and tito Conrad.

"That's tita Helena, and ninong Conrad, my dad's business partner," I sighed. "Sina mom, dad, ninong Conrad, tita Helena, and certain Hectur Yu are bunch of friends during their college years."

"So? Why are you investigating about them?" Faith asked.

"I think... there's something behind their lives that connect to mine now," I gulped. "I trust my gut feel guys, uunahin ko muna ang friends nila mom and dad. Then, if nothing happens...I'll dig deeper on our relatives."

"I remembered Hectur Yu and Orlando Morris, sikat sila na football players noong time nila," Kye stood moving around. "Now...if you want to know what's behind their college life before, we have to dig deeper."

"Hectur Yu died first, followed by my mom, and uncle Orlando," I held my chest. "The cause of their death was car accident, hindi ba nakakapag-duda?"
