“Enough with your litany Mr. Del Mundo,” ma'am Naomi grinned. “I am not a professor in the first place, I'm a chemist!”
I got froze on what I heard. All this time pala, ang daming sikreto ang nakatago rito sa loob ng Morris University. Bakit ba napabayaan ni daddy 'to? Why did he allow this to happen?
“Nasaan si Lixy, anong ginawa n'yo sa kanya!?” Kye yelled.
Ma'am Naomi giggled, “she's a gift, for someone really, really special.”
I trembled on what she said. Lixy is really in danger. Pero paano namin siya matutulungan kung kami mismo, nasa bingit din ng kapahamakan.
I glanced on the two men beside ma'am Naomi. Sila ang tumututok ng mga baril sa'min.

“Utang ma'am? Diba ikaw ang may malaking utang sa university na 'to, you weren't supposed to be here in the first place,” I said even my voice was a bit shaky. “I swear you'll pay for this!”
“Really Ms. Sydney Morris?” she chuckled. “How can you make me pay, if you can't help yourself in the first place?”
I froze on what I heard. She knew my secret? How? When? Nangiginig ang kamay ko sa takot. Marahan naman 'tong pinisil ni Kye just to comfort me.
“Just do what do you want to do now ma'am Naomi, ano bang laban namin sa'yo at sa mga goons mo,” Kye shrugged his shoulders.
“Wait! I am not done with my lesson for the three of you yet,” she crossed her arms and walked near us. “You ruined everything!”
“Did we? Or should I say, you ruined the reputation of my family's university! What kind of person you are?!” I almost yelled clenching my fists.
I was shocked when she grabbed me in my arms. She held it so tight that I felt pain already. Kinuha n'ya rin ang nakapatong na baril sa mesa at tila ipinapakita ito sa'kin.
“That wasn't enough! Because your family is the reason why my brother died!” she shouted adding pressure to her hand holding my arms. “Your family is the reason why kuya Hector died! And you'll pay for it!”
I trembled on what I heard. Anong pinagsasabi n'ya? Hector Yu is her brother? Pero...bakit pamilya ko ang sinisisi n'ya sa pagkamatay nito? Ano ba talaga ang nangyayari?
“A-Anong pinagsasabi mo? Why are you blaming my family for his death? Are you out of your mind?” I trembled over my words.
“Poor Sydney! Haven't you ask your family about what they did?” she gave a sarcastic smile. “Nadamay pa ang kapatid ko nang dahil sa kagagawan nila!”
