Nakatitig lang ako sa blackboard habang palakad-lakad na nag-papaliwanag ang bagong professor namin. Siya ang kapalit ni sir Wilson, or should I say, Dawson Sy.
Nakakapanibago lang, pero higit sa lahat naguguluhan pa rin ako sa totoong motive ni sir Wilson. Until now kasi, wala pa ring balita tungkol sa kanya.
After my morning class, I headed my way to the locker area. Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit ang bigat ng pakiramdam ko ngayon. Kung kailan maayos na rin naman ang kalagayan ni lolo Thomas. Nasa bahay na ito at inaalagaan ni yaya Conchita.
“Hey Sydney, are you alright?” napalingon ako nang biglang may magsalita. I saw Kye leaning on the wall. I sighed to ease the burden I felt. Nakatulala na naman pala ako, nakakapanghina na rin kasi talaga.
“Hmm... Ikaw pala Kye, ayos lang ako,” I closed my locker. “May nalaman ka na ba?”
“Yeah-- may kunti na akong na-discover last night, but I think it's not safe to talk about that here,” he crossed his arms. “Tara sa cafeteria, Faith is waiting for us there.”
I nodded and we directed to the cafeteria. Pero bago pa man kami makapasok sa loob, Ruby and Aaron blocked our way.
“So? Gaano na kayo ka-close nitong pangit na 'to Kye?” Ruby bursted out in laughter pointing her finger at me.
“It's none of your business Ruby, tara na Syd—Cindy,” Kye sighed.
“Wait! Nagmamadali? Kye naman kasi, I'm just here to help you,” Aaron tapped Kye's shoulder. “Kung gusto mong makawala sa spell nitong pangit na 'to, just call us ha.”
“Stop this nonsense scene na lang pwede? We're busy to mind your rants and insults,” Kye took away Aaron's hand from his shoulder. “One day, kayo naman ang mapapahiya sa mga ginagawa n'yo, tara na Cindy.”
We continued to walk and settled down in the table where Faith was waiting. I tried to manage my anger. Pero hindi ko alam kung hanggang kelan ko matitiis, ang pang-bubully nila Ruby. Nakakapikon na rin kasi kung minsan.
“Ayos ka lang ba Cindy? Hayaan mo na sila Ruby, inggit lang 'yun kasi kasama na natin si Kye,” Faith held me in my hand.
“Don't mind her Cindy, we have a lot of things to do rather than minding them,” Kye snorted. “Anyway-- I found something that cringed me last night.”
“Ano 'yun Kye?” Faith took out her small notebook.
“It's about your best friend Rosy, I read an article about her,” Kye gulped. “I also saw a picture of her suicide incident, and I was shocked to see this.”
Kye showed a picture in his phone. It was a bit blurred because he shot it from his laptop.
“Nakita ko na rin naman 'yan Kye,” Faith sighed. “Yan ang actual photo ng suicide incident ni Rosy.”
“You only saw the other angle, but not this one,” Kye zoomed in the photo and I gaped upon seeing Aaron, Caden, and Erin on the photo.
“B-bakit nandiyan sila? Diba gabi nangyari ang incident na 'yun?” I touched my throat.
“Bakit wala man lang silang nabanggit sa'kin tungkol dito?” nanlaki ang mga mata ni Faith.
“That's the point Faith-- hindi sa pinagdududahan ko sila, pero may iba lang talaga akong nararamdaman about this,” Kye's eyebrows furrowed. “Diba-- 'yung recent case na si Grace Santiago, ex girlfriend 'yun ni Aaron?”
“Oo-- at sa tingin mo Kye— may alam si Aaron dito?” Faith asked as she covered her mouth.
“Hindi ako sure Faith-- it's either meron o wala, kung may alam man siya o participation dito, 'yun ang kailangan nating alamin,” Kye drummed his fingers on the table.
