Y/n's pov
It was finally time and Merlin my stomach was upset , my hands felt sweaty , and I was just down right anxious.
I stood in my rooms room messing with my dress and eyeing myself. My parents shipped me a Very expensive black gown and it looked great. It wasn't too formal or too casual , it was all around perfect.
My h/c locks were styled just how I liked , and I wore a natural look for my makeup. Daphne walked out of the bathroom wearing her dress , my head snapped to observe her and a smile soon grew on my face.
She wore a beautiful light blue dress , with small white shoes. Her blonde hair looked beautiful in the ponytail she wore. I figured her hufflepuff boyfriend would be wearing something that complimented her dress.
Although being a Slytherin the Greengrass family were very accepting of others , our friends didn't like it of course but nonetheless if she was happy so be it.
I'd manage to ignore Pansy the past week or so , not talking to her once . My mind couldn't wrap around what happened , or how she didn't care to tell me.
As if she could read my thoughts my other roommate walked out of the bathroom. Her dress was nothing as I expected it to be as I gazed at her through the mirror.
She wore a light grey , with a white pattern on the dress. I couldn't lie to myself, she looked gorgeous but didn't look happy as she mumbled under her breathe.
" you look lovely Pansy." Daphne spoke up breaking the tension in the room , or at least trying to.
Pansy's dark eyes shot up but she didn't say anything complimentary in return , earning an eye roll from me as I finished preparing myself in the mirror.
" what's the matter y/n/n." She jeered in almost a mumble . Turning away from the mirror I crossed my arms and shrugged.
" what's the matter with you."
" nothing besides you hogging the mirror , some of us actually have dates and need to leave now." She shot back , my eyebrows furrowed together as I felt an enormous amount of rage bubble in me. While Daphne observed us ultimately scared for eachothers lives.
" For your information I do have a date." I scoffed as I walked towards the door , picking up a small clutch and my wand.
" is that so? Who is it then?"
" she's going with Theodore of course." The worried blonde chirped. I didn't even have to be facing Pansy to know that her face had filled with jealousy.
