Y/n's pov

The next few days were awkward, like beyond awkward

I still couldn't wrap my head around all of those nasty things Draco said , or why he did.

" hey watch it-"

Soon enough I was on the ground with my books sprawled out everywhere .

God I have to stop getting lost in my thoughts.

As I opened my eyes a hand covered with sliver rings reached out for mine. A skull ring caught my eye , trailing up to find the face it belonged to I gazed upon a beautiful grin .

" you should watch where you're going Wyllt." The charming boy in his durmstrang uniform teased . Taking Gene's hand I allowed him to pull me up.

" Just zoned out is all." I mumbled as I fixed and brushed off my black skirt and robes. Looking up at Gene who was seemingly admiring me I felt flustered and a wave of shyness .

He handed me my books which I failed to notice he even picked up for me. Biting my lip made sure everything was where it needed to be before looking up at the much taller boy.

" I must get going , thank you so much for the hand." I spoke softly and quickly before turning around , I didn't get fair as he rushed to walk with me.

" wait y/n"

Turning my head I stopped to let him catch up. Once he did I began to walk , letting him stay in my presence.

"How was your summer y/n" he asked curiously as his eyes wondered around the hall.

" quite boring ."

" didn't answer any of my letters ." Gene remarked , my cheeks turned red with embarrassment .

Shit

Looking up at the boy and gave him a smile of pity.

" I'm so so sorry Eugene ." I sincerely apologized , he passed me a warm smile .

God he had a beautiful smile.

"Don't even worry about it , I'm just glad you're here and doing okay." He spoke kindly

Okay ?

I wouldn't say I was okay but for his sake I'll just smile .

" look who's here!" A familiar voice called from behind us , Turing our heads at the same time we both smiled at our mutual friend.

Theodore , more known as Teddy.

" Theodore , it's always good to see you mate." Gene smiled as the two hugged . Nodding at Teddy I signaled that I didn't need a hug.

Wrapping both his arms around us and walking with us our charming friend smiled.

" man , seeing you two get along is great. Of course I heard about your little 'incident' at the party but wow." Teddy rambled , my cheeks turned red at his words while Gene just smiled and chuckled.

Abruptly Teddy looked at his expensive watch and mumbled a " fuck" .

" what's wrong ?"I quirked with a raised brow . My eyes widened when Teddy planted a kiss on my cheek.

" yuck! Theodore are you serious." I grumbled as I whipped it off , he smiled amused.

" my lady friend is waiting for me in an empty classroom , so duty calls ." He informed while waking infront of us .

Ew

" oh and you two better be shagging before the holidays , okay?" He called loudly as he turned around , walking backwards. I covered my eyes embarrassed as he bumped into a poor first year.

We both watched in awe as he rounded the corner and students passed whispers regarding us.

" I'm so sorry about him." I spoke in a tone of embarrassment and shoke. Looking at Gene he just smiled and... blushed?

" it's okay really , It's just Theodore being himself." He smiled , I hadn't realized we both stopped in the crowed hall and were facing eachother.

It felt like it was just us as I looked up at his brown eyes with a smile. He slowly craned down to my ear and began to whisper .

" but if you ever want to shag you know where to find me ms. Wyllt."
