The next day was weird , no one really knew what happened to Harry . All you knew was Sirius Black was gone and the ministry was upset . Sitting in your dorm you began to finally write your essay , it took awhile but you had decided to put down being alone . You didn't know how that would transfer to the cabinet but anything was possible with magic right ???
Loneliness was something you struggled with , your parents especially. You hated when they didn't write , when you were away , and especially when you went home during breaks and sat all alone . Growing up your parents were always working , your dad busy with the ministry and your mom was always doing something. They kept a lot of secrets and always said you wouldn't understand, you knew there was something they were hiding and it bugged you something awful.
It took an hour to write your essay , putting down your quill you looked at the words before you and sighed . You didn't have anytime to redo it , tomorrow was the deadline and there was no going back now. The opening of your bedroom door caused you to turn your head , Pansy stood in the door with a smile .
" hey were going to play a game of Veritaserum or Felix Felicis with some of the fourth years , why don't you come down." Pansy spoke with a smile , looking at your desk and back to her you smiled . " okay sure but what is it ?" You asked as you stood up and walked towards her . Closing your door behind you as you walked out the two of you began to walk down the hall as Pansy explained that it's like truth or dare but they don't have the Felix felicis because it's too hard to brew. When reaching the bottom of the stairs you looked at the group of kids waiting for you guys , there were your friends and a few fourth year boys and girls .
"Hey guys ." You spoke in a soft tone as you waved , taking a seat on the green velvet couch next to Daphne and Pansy you smiled to yourself. You noticed a bottle and asked Pansy why it was there. " that's the truth serum , we're also gonna use it to spin to see who's turn it is." Pansy explained
" okay so let's see who's going first." Crabbe spoke with a grin as he spun to bottle , it landed on Blaise . His eyes light up causing you to chuckle.
" what will it be Blaise truth serum or a dare ?" Draco teased as he shoved the boy next to him causing Blaise to laugh.
" truth always." Blaise answered , he was handed the bottle and took a sip. You al seemed to lean in with anticipation as you waited for His question.
" who's the prettiest girl in Hogwarts." Goyle asked , you all held your breath as Blaise seemingly thought over his answer.
" Y/n hands down." Blaise blurted out , your eyes widened as student whooped and laughed . You definitely didn't Fancy Blaise but you were flattered, letting out a small " thank you ." Before Crabbe spun the bottle again. It Landed on Pansy ,you clapped and chuckled as she blushed.
" dare ." Pansy let out confidently .
' that's my girl' you thought to yourself with a grin .
