" I thought I'd find you up here someday miss wyllt." A voice echoed as you stood gazing up at the sky infront of you. Turning around you met The gaze of None other than Professor Dumbledore. "Curious isn't it?" He spoke out again as he walked towards the edge of the astronomy tower and stood next to you. Raising your eyebrow you looked at him confused.
" some of the brightest witches and wizards often find themselves alone." Dumbledore spoke out , his voice filling the tower as you continued to look up at the stars. " I don't understand Professor ." You let out with a sigh , Dumbledore looked at you waiting for you to add on.
" why slytherin , why me , why this school." You confessed with a melancholy tone , Dumbledore let out a Hum as he pondered your words.
" I'm not like him ." You spoke out catching Dumbledore off guard , turning to look at you he examined your upset and confused expression. " it's true isn't it Professor?" You questioned with a sad tone as your glossy and hurt eyes met Dumbledores , a pitiful smile plastered on his face as he nodded.
" you're not like Voldemort y/n , in the two days you've been here I've observed your compassion , your love for companionship, and your smarts." Professor Dumbledore reassured softly . " but I've seen your need to please people y/n. You don't need to fit in with the other Slytherins , I know what those kids believe and who their families are and one day I'm afraid those same kids will be doing dark terrible things ." Dumbledore Confessed , Blaise's warning echoed in your head as you thought about what they said. Memories of Abby's death flashed in your head causing you to grasp the railing in front of you as you squinted you Eyes. Feeling Dumbledore looking at you , there was an odd feeling that he could see what you were seeing. Opening your eyes suddenly you met his gaze before clearing your throat.
Dumbledore began to walk away hastily to leave the tower when it hit you he was using Legilmency on you. You sighed turning around to watch him.
" do you believe sometimes Good people do bad things Professor." You spoke up causing Dumbledore to turn around and faced you. He looked at you solemnly before nodding. You felt tears brimming your eyes and a lump filling your throat.
" I never meant to , Professor." You choked out while looking at the floor , not wanting to meet your Professor's gaze. " I believe you Miss Wyllt , I can promise you I won't tell anyone. You don't need to worry ." He reassured solemnly , after a few seconds he was gone . Leaving you in the tower alone , thinking over what he said about your new friends.

It was starting to get chilly outside, the next few days were filled with work and such. As you and Pansy walked through Hogsmeade you couldn't help but think about your family and how much you missed them.
" hey y/n , hey Pansy." Crabbe spoke out with a happy tone breaking your thoughts , looking over you noticed Him , Goyle , and Draco start to walk with you. You smiled at your friend . The past few days you'd gotten closer with your friends , bonding over family and messing with students. You genuinely started to grow to love them all , even if Blaise was being mysterious and distant.
