A few weeks had past and the snow had finally melted . The second task was practically days away now .
Despite What happened on Christmas I hadn't talked to Draco much . We'd share looks and quiet moments but nothing more.
Pansy and I slowly started to talk more again , I decided she ment more to me than getting mad over a dance.
" You and that bloody snake , where'd you even get him from?" Teddy asked with a laugh as we walked side by side across the bridge. Looking up at him I noticed his eyes that were fixated if the black snake that wrapped around my hand.
Shrugging I smiled.
" a friend."
" what's his name ?" He asked curiously as he observed the creature.
" wren." I answered casually
It was a slow day at hogwarts , students buzzed about the tournament as the walked to their classes.
" y/n !" A familiar voice called from one side did the bridge , Theodore rolled his eyes before turning around with me.
" Cedric?"
" I've been meaning to talk to you." He admitted looking inbetween Teddy and myself.
" well nows your chance I guess , speak." I let out blankly , earning a confused glare from Teddy.
" I really wanted to apologize for what happened , that's not like me and you know that y/n. I wanna make it up to you , let me take you to get a butterbeer or something." Cedric pleaded before I could say anything Teddy scoffed and Crossed his arms.
" very funny mate , That's not going to happen."
" I think y/n can speak for herself, Nott." Cedric jeered before looking back down at me , awaiting an answer.
" what about cho?"
Cedrics eyes widened and his mouth gaped , Rolling my eyes I felt myself getting irritated.
" w-we're just friends , I didn't even want to take her to the ball. I wanted to take you.." Cedric admitted with the last part barely a whisper . His words made a Triumphant grin grow on Teddy's face .
" I'm sure cho would love to hear that one mate." Teddy chuckled at Cedrics expense. Instinctually I pulled Teddy's arm to move him slightly behind me as I noticed Cedrics balled fist.
" listen here Theo-"
" I'll meet you in the Library tonight Diggory. You can accompany for studying and if you behave I'll let you take me somewhere." I huffed cutting of the agitated boy , my words shot Cedrics attention to me as his face lit up.
