"9¾ " You sigh looking at a piece of paper in your hand. Looking up your eyes search for a sign with those numbers but you can't find one.
Thoughts race in your mind about how your parents should be here with you, you look at all the muggles passing as they talked about useless things.
" Draco's father told my father that Harry Potter had a meeting with the minister about him using magic outside of school." A boy wearing a sweater and trousers explained to a girl with short black hair as they walked towards a wall.
" Harry Potter?" You mutter to yourself. You may have just come from Ilvermorny but you're no idiot , especially since your family is from Great Britain. You're aware of who the young Potter boy is and you know who too.
Walking closer to the two kids you saw them suddenly run into the wall . Shocked you looked around to see the muggle's reaction but their was none.
Glancing down at your watch you sighed and then looked up towards the wall.
" here goes nothing am I right {your owl's name}?" You asked your black owl who sat comfortably in his cage. You started running and closed your eyes before you went through the wall.
Relieved you look around at all the kids with their things as most of them enter the train. Following their lead you put your stuff away and stepped on the train.
There were kids laughing, going in and out of compartments, and buying candy.
You rolled your eyes and pushed past most of them , looking for an empty compartment for yourself.
Finally finding an empty one you slide the door open and set y/o/n down on the seat next to you.
You rested your head against the window and closed your eyes. Memory's from Ilvermorny flash through you eyes . At first it's all fun and happy ones , ones of you and your best friend Abby laughing and having fun. Your adventures and the kids you met there.
Then the memory's that flash by get scary and dark , one of sweet Abby's bloody and lifeless body pops in your mind causing you to gasp for air and wake up. It didn't even feel like you feel asleep, tears subconsciously stream down your cheeks.
The sound of someone clearing their throat awkwardly broke your thoughts and let you know people must've come in while you dosed off.
" I'm sorry if we woke you miss." You heard a sweet and light voice say , opening your eyes you look around to see a ginger girl next to you , a blonde girl across from you , and a awkward looking boy next to her.
" th-this is just where we normally sit." The boy explains , you nodded your head and cleared your throat. " it's okay , I get it." You reply blankly , you look out the window as you feel the kids staring at you.
' my goodness couldn't they just take a picture already.' You thought annoyed to yourself.
" do we know you?" The red headed girl asked as she studied you in a curios manor.
" I just transferred here so I don't think so." You replied shortly with a fake smile before turning back towards the window. " we don't get many transfers at Hogwarts." You hear the boy say shocked , you rolled your eyes as you continue to look out the window .
" how very " You let out and smile at him sarcastically .
" Luna , do you think it's getting colder?" The redhead asked nervously. You look up and see the window start to frost. The train shutters then comes to a sudden stop. Panic fills the compartment as everyone looks at eachother confused.
" what's happening?" The boy asked the girl who you just discovered is Luna. " I'm not sure ." She let out softly and looks out the window.
You look towards the hallway and see a dark figure moving down the hall.
" holy crap." You mutter to yourself , you start to get up. " excuse me ." You let out blankly and swiftly as you climb over the red head .
Sliding the door open you Oop our head out of the compartment and look down the hall. You see a dementor opening a door to a compartment.
" what are you doing ?" Luna asks worried, you shush her before stepping out into the hall . You slowly close the door. You start to see the dementor performing the dementors kiss on a student. Swiftly you take you your wand.
" Expecto patronum" you say confidently as you point your wand at the dementor causing it to flee. A few minutes later the train starts to move again.
You quickly enter your compartment before kids start to come out of theirs curious as to what just happened. Sitting down you sigh and place your head in your hands. You can feel the group staring at you shocked.
" did you just-"Neville begins to ask baffled but you interrupt him replying blankly with " I have no clue what you're talking about."
After a few minutes of awkward silence the boy and red head get up to go change.
Luna stays and studies , your eyes meet hers and you sigh.
" I'm going to change ." You say awkwardly as her glance never leaves you.
Standing up and going to the door you think about what just happened.
" it's you isn't it?" You hear the blonde haired girl ask curiously before your hand reaches the door.
Turning around to face her you ask her what she's talking about.
" there's been rumors for years , rumors about a young witch with great powers . One who can do incredible things , unexplainable things. Just recently those rumors have been that she's come home ." Luna states with her soft and light voice filling the empty compartment.
" I think you've mistaken me for someone else." You reply coldly after a few seconds of silence. Turning around swiftly again you grab your owl and robs.

Stepping off the train you see beautiful Thestrals attached to carriages . Kids start to fill the carriages quickly. Your thoughts about everything that's happened so far are broken by a familiar voice.
" People are saying it's was Harry who got the dementors kiss performed on him." The boy from the platform earlier says as he walks past you , he accidentally shoulder checks you causing him and his friends to look back at you .
A blonde haired boy looks you up and down as if he's sizing you up , your cheeks start to feel red. ' what's wrong with you y/n stop.' You think to yourself annoyed at yourself for getting flustered.
" stupid first years." The blonde boy spits while looking at you as him and his friends keep walking , his group laughs and they turn their heads and back facing the carriages.
You flustered demeanor turns into rage as you clench your fists. Looking down at your plain robes you sigh .
