Jealousy

Hogwarts express , the familiar train now stopped infront of you as you climbed aboard holding y/o/n and a trunk . Pushing past familiar and new faces your eyes searched for the faces you loved the most.

  " y/n ! In here." Pansy's voice rang out , the raven haired girl who had stuck her head out of the door waved you over with a warm smile. Walking faster you pushed past more people and hugged the girl you missed dearly.

  " Come in ." She cheered pulling you in swiftly and shutting the door behind you. Five of your fellow Slytherins and friends looked at you happily as you stood infront of the door. Waving shyly you sat down next to Crabbe .

  " Is it time for the annual rambling of Pansy?" You teased earning a few chuckles and a frown from Pansy. Nonetheless she did go on the ramble about her summer , her parents , and everything under the sun. Being friends with Pansy you learned to tune her out when she goes on , but sometimes things will stick out .

  " did you guys read about the dark mark that was found in the sky after the incident?" Her voice rang through the cart , you all seemed to oddly snap out of your trances at the same time and look at Pansy.

  " yeah my dad told me about it."

   " Y/n and Myself were there."

    " mum says it's probably nothing serious."

   The boys chimmed in quickly while you played with your skirt , thinking about the events that took place while the mark was being cast.

   " I actually lost y/n , I'm thankful you made it home safely." Draco's voice broke into your thoughts. Looking up you smiled at the blonde boy and nodded.
   " yeah I made it home okay."

   Looking out of the compartment you watched the trolley go down , reaching for galleons you stood up swiftly and followed the sweet old lady pushing the heavy trolley. She stopped infront of Ron and Harry causing you to stop yourself as you heard a groups of girls waiting too behind yourself. Looking back you made eye contact with Cho Chang and her friends you found rather annoying .

  " on second thought just the drewbals." Ron's voice broke into your thoughts as you turned back around , observing the boy who stared at his poor amount of galleons you felt a sting of pity.

  " here , it's on me. A licorice wand for him and a chocolate frog for me please." You spoke up handing the kind old lady the right amount of money , Ron and Harry stood dumbfounded while she handed Ron his candy and you your frog.

  " two pumpkin pasties please." The Ravenclaw girl behind you spoke softly.

  " Watch your back Potter." You warned in a tone no one could quite read before stepping away from the trolley and heading back to your friends.

  Once back in the compartment your companions looked at you weary of what took so long . Clearing your throat and sitting down you began to listen to Pansy ramble on once more.

   " ah ha ! If it isn't the slimiest lot on the train , just who I was looking for." A charming voice jokes as he opened the trolley door.

   " Good evening Theodore." Crabbe welcomed with a grin as your fellow Slytherin sat himself down with you guys.

   " long time no see , I was beginning to think you fell of the face of the earth." Pansy spoke annoyed while looking out the window . Wrapping an arm around you jokingly Theodore hummed causing you to hold in a laugh.

  " oh Pansy my love , I'm so sorry for ignoring your ugly owl." He sung in a silly tone , you and your friends stifled your laughs at Pansy's expense.

  " oi!" Theodore called as he jumped up practically on the table.

  " so here's a run down on everyone's summers ."

  " that greasy git named Malfoy got dumped , Blaise spent his summer locked up in his room , Crabbe and Goyle practiced unforgivable curses on bunnies , And poor Pansy got ignored by a slimy Slytherin." Theodore sung once more causing you all to laugh , your giggling stopped once he spun around and looked at you while humming.

  " and as for our prettiest maiden , she's been swoon by a hufflepuff." He added on but in a softer tone before winking.

  " you what?" Draco demanded causing everyone to stop giggling, and get quite uncomfortable. Theodore got down from the table and sat quietly next to you.

  " Teddy is just joking , I have no idea what you're so upset about." You scoffed as you looked out the window trying to avoid Draco's angry gaze.

   " elaborate, Teddy." Draco spoke in a unamused tone . Theodore noticeably gulped as he looked over at you with a nervous smile . Your eyes grew cold and your expression got more annoyed by the boys prying.

" It could be nothing really , just heard a Certain lad speak of our y/n/n while I was walking to the compartment."

  " who?"

  " seriously who?"

  " y/n is there something your not telling us?" The cart erupted into chaos , but within it your eyes met Draco's who already knew which boy Teddy was speaking of. His eyes narrowed on your face as he scoffed , you tried to plead with him quietly.

   The feeling of the train reaching its destination stopped the chaos, standing up you grabbed your luggage quickly.

  " it's best we head off now , chop chop." You spoke erratically, feeling saved by the train stoping . You found yourself letting everyone out of the cart before yourself . Before you could walk out with your owl Draco grabbed your wrist , pulling you back into the cart and spinning you to look at his blue orbs.

" Cedric huh?" He asked with an already knowing tone and face of disgust. Rolling your eyes you shook out of his grip.

  " Draco it's not a big deal-"

  " do you fancy him?" The blonde cut you off , your eyes went wide at his words and your face grew red.

  " f-fancy him , Don't be silly Dray! I barely know him. I just-" you babbled as Draco scoffed and looked past you . Turning your head you noticed the other students whispering as they passed the windows . Draco examined your red cheeks and looked away annoyed.

   " whatever , have fun with git of a boyfriend." He spoke abruptly before shoving past you , leaving you all alone and shocked.
