Sitting at dinner you thought about how much you missed your parents as you gazed at your potions book. Your thoughts were interrupted by Pansy loudly taking a seat next to you. " good evening gentlemen and lady." Pansy spoke addressing your group as the boys either are their lunch or studied the same as yourself.
" how's your essay going y/n?" Blaise asked bringing your peers attention to you . You shrugged and looked down at the empty roll of parchment next to your book. The essay was due Monday and even with the two months you've had to write your parchment was still empty . " I haven't got a clue on what to write ." You confessed, your friends seemingly began to think of things they thought you were afraid of.
" why don't you just make something up you know , just write something common." Goyle brought up , you thought about it for a second before shaking your head. " I'd risk losing to many points , this whole idea of an essay is stupid anyways ." You grumbled as you closed your book. The great hall was always filled with kids on the weekend, everyone looked different as they wore their " normal" clothes . Slytherin students would be found in black or grey whilst other houses wore a plethora of colors and old clothes.
" we're going to watch that chicken get beheaded after lunch , are you guys coming?" Crabbe asked looking at you and Pansy , looking at the girl besides you she shook her head no. " I'm far to busy studying for finals coming up ." Pansy replied causing Blaise and Goyle to agree with her.
" what about you y/n?" Draco asked with a blank face as he looked at you causing your peers to turn their attention to you waiting for a response. You shifted as you looked down at you blank piece of parchment and then back up at Draco. " well I planned on trying to write something but I guess I'll see you guys down at Hagrids." You spoke , The boys nodded with smiles and went back to their food . Feeling someone staring you turned around to find a certain Hufflepuff looking at you , passing a small smile before turning around you blushed to yourself.
It wasn't long before you found yourself walking towards hagrid's with Crabbe , Draco , and Teddy . Your Mary Janes clicked on the stone as you entered the courtyard , shuddering as you saw a hooded man sharpening a huge axe of some sort.
" what a creep ." Teddy spoke with a grin as you guys walked across the bridge. " looks kinda like you wouldn't you say ?" You joked with a smile causing the boy next to you to lightly shove you whilst Draco and Crabbe snickered. Draco took out his binoculars as the four of you walked to one of the stone hedges , peeking around you guys looked at buckbeck and snickered . The boys were cracking jokes and talking about the poor creature while you looked around and started to hear footsteps. Not thinking anything of it you knelt down and picked up a strange looking rock , as you slowly stood up your eyes fell on the golden trio who stood at the top of the hill.
" mudblood 6 o'clock." You spoke while clearing you throat causing your friends to turn around . " ahh come to see the show !" Draco cheered knowingly , you smiled as you watched Hermione come down the hill while yelling at Draco. Your laughter Dropped as she put her wand to Draco's throat , slowly pulling your wand out of your white socks you pointed it at her without her seeing.
