On the front step of the Malfoy Manor all you felt was butterflies. You wondered what you'd find beyond the door , you had an idea of the people who would be there. Blaise knocking on the door snapped you out of your thoughts ,you were slightly confused when the door opened and seemingly revealed no one behind it. Hearing a small voice your head snapped to your feet, you smiled at a house elf who greeted you kindly. Blaise rudely brushed past the poor creature and entered the manor.
" have a nice night sir." You spoke softly as you knelt down , returning a smile the elf nodded and gestured for you to go towards a certain room. Following Blaise you found yourself in a grand room , it seemed as if everyone not dancing had stopped and looked at you, nervously you looped your elbow into Blaise's as the two of you walked towards Pansy , Crabbe , and Goyle.
" you two clean up nicely for a bunch of Slytherins." Crabbe spoke out sarcastically over the music , you laughed softly before he took your hand and Politely gave it a kiss causing Goyle to do the same shortly after. Pansy gave you a big hug and you held hands as you admired eachothers gowns. She wore a black gown with Tull and lace on it , almost everyone wore Black or grey. Hearing the song stop and people clapping you turned your attention to the dance floor , your eyes subconsciously landed on a familiar icy blonde as he bowed to his partner. Lifting his head up and looking around Draco's eyes found yours as you stood in the corner with your friends. Feeling flustered you looked down as the blonde boy before you made his way to you guys , he smiled as he looked at his friends who he had missed dearly.
"You guys clean up nicely." Draco spoke in a playful but kind tone as he stood before you guys , looking up you acknowledged his presence and smiled in response. Draco gestured for you to come with him , you felt flustered again as his hand landed softly in the small of your back and he stood close. " there's some people I'd love for you to meet ." He spoke softly as he escorted you through the hall and towards a dining room. You simply nodded not knowing what to say , Ms.Zabini's mysterious words played in your head as you reached the large doorway.
" Mother , Father This is Miss Y/n Wyllt." Draco spoke out politely as he took your hand and pulled you forward as if to show you off. A tall serious looking man and a blonde woman stood before you , you politely bowed not knowing how to address them. They stepped forward with smiles , you relaxed seeing their expressions. " we've heard so much about you y/n , we would've sent you and your parents an invitation if we would've known about you sooner." The lady before you spoke kindly , Ms. Zabini's warnings seemed to have faded from your memory as you felt comforted by the people before you.
" I'm Narcissa and This is Lucious , Draco has told us many stories about what you've done at school." Narcissa spoke , you glared at Draco and raised a brow when hearing her words. " telling stories are we ?" You whispered to the boy besides you , Draco grinned causing you to smile amused.
" We're Sorry we couldn't invite you earlier, we'd love to meet your parents y/n." Narcissa explained you nodded understandingly. " My parents would love to meet you guys , I'm sure we could work something out over the summer." You spoke with a charming tone.
