I was still walking around the town, despite it being 11:30. it just helped me clear my head. I still wasn't sure what I would say the next time I saw Hungary. The town was pretty empty for a Friday night. As I walked mindlessly down the block, I drew close to a slouched figure on a bench. As I got closer I could see it was a girl. Closer, and I could hear soft tears. Closer and I could see it was obviously "Sheila?"
Hungary stopped crying and looked at me. "Oh, hey Auzzie." She smiled, but I could hear all the tears she was holding back.
"Sheila, why are you doing out here this late?"
"I could ask you the same."
"Sheila."
She sighed. "Austria stood me up."
"Maybe he's just running late." How dare the bastard.
"I've been here since 8:07."
I took the seat next to her and wrapped my arm around her. "Sheila I lo-"
"He stood me up." She cried. "It was out anniversary and he stood me up." I can't tell her, she doesn't need this right now.
She sniffled and softened her cry. "I'm sorry Auzzie, were you saying something?"
I took a breath. "Sheila... I think Austria's a damn fool, and he doesn't know what an amazing girl he has."
I love you.
That's what I wanted to say.
I hope you liked it, I'll try to squeeze another chapter in today.
Love and fish, aphsey
