I hit the timer on the wall before surfacing. I looked at the score board. First. With much satisfaction, I climbed out of the pool.
"We won, Sheila! We won!" A deep voice said grabbing me by the waist and spinning me around.
I laughed, well giggled if I must be honest.
"You're amazing Sheila." Australia kissed my cheek and I swear my heart leapt into my throat.
"Th-thank you," I cleared my throat of all nervousness. Why am I nervous? "Thank you, but you were amazing too, Auzzie."
"Just wait till we hang that shining beauty in the rec room." He said excitedly looking at the trophy.
I smirked, "Who's to say it won't be put in the pool room?" I teased. He chuckled and snaked his arms around my waist making my heart leap into my throat.
