The car ride to the train station was silent. It felt as if the family was taking everything in.

Sofia wasn't angry. She wasn't sad. But, she felt empty. She felt like this was the last time. The last time for what exactly? She didn't want to think about it.

Frank sat in her arms, only his meows filling the car with noise.

When they arrived, Sofia got her trunk of out of the back of the car. Her mother carried it for her as they walked in. Sofia walked hand in hand with her Father as they walked in.

When they got to the entrance of the platform, Sofia finally realized how her Father was able to get in.

Her Mother had explained earlier that the things that Snape had been doing to her Father, had been things not any typical Wizard could do. It was very advanced magic. Advanced spells, advanced potions, you name it. Deep down, her Dad had been only surviving off of pure magic. So, it made him a bit powerful too. That's why he was able to enter the platform.

"Well... this is it, sweetheart." her Mother announced, finally speaking after half an hour. Sofia looked around, and saw familiar faces telling their families goodbye. This must've been way easier for them.

Sofia quickly hugged her Mother, tears filling her eyes. She didn't want to say goodbye, not even to her Mom. She knew that the next time she saw her, she would be a completely different woman. A widow.

Then, Sofia slowly approached her Father. The hug that the two shared was so much more compared to the hugs Sofia had received from him her whole entire life.

"You'll be alright, Sof." her Dad whispered to her, then kissing the top of her head.

She heard the train whistle, signaling that it was about 10 minutes away from leaving. She knew that she would have to let go soon, but she couldn't.

"Will I see you again?" the girl choked out, pleading for an honest answer. He pulled away from her, and put his hand on her cheek,

"You will, Sof. I promise. I'll refuse to look into the light without seeing you first..." he smiled, and tears flowed down the girl's face.

"I love you, Dad."

"And, I love you, sweetheart..."

She wrapped her arms around his waist again, clutching on tighter than she ever did before.

Her Mother was crying at the sight,

"You'll survive. You're as tough as nails." she told him, and he chuckled.

Another whistle.

Her Dad pulled away from her, and kissed the top of her head again.

"Be good, Sofia. Just breathe. You're never alone. Your mom and I are right beside you. Always."

Sofia smiled at him through her tears and nodded her head, letting him know that she understood.

"Sofia!" someone yelled. Sofia turned her head, and saw Seamus waving over at her, standing with Neville and Dean.

"Seems like someone is excited to see you. Is that Neville?"

She laughed, "No, that's um—Seamus. Neville is right beside him, though."

Another whistle.

"You're gonna miss the train if you don't hurry, Sof." her Mother told her, and she nodded her head.

Sofia looked over at her Father, and he nodded his head, telling her mentally as well that she needed to leave.

Sofia's Mom gave Sofia Frank, and then Sofia picked up her trunk.

"Watch out for little guy, there. Don't let anything bad happen to him!" Sofia's Dad told her, and she smiled.

Another whistle.

"Sofia!!" she heard again, and her Mother chuckled. This time, the voice was Neville.

"Go on, Sof."

Sofia nodded at her father, and stepped back.

"I love you guys." she told them, and they smiled.

"We love you too, dear." Her Dad responded.

"Bye, Daddy..." Sofia uttered, and a flashback popped into her Dad's brain of when she said the same thing to him on her first day of Kindergarten. That fragile, scared voice.

"Bye, Sofia."

And with that, they walked away from her. Her Mother helped her Dad walk, and tears fell from Sofia's eyes as she saw them disappear.

Deep down, she knew that was it.

Sofia sighed, and started to walk over to her friends. She pushed passed people to get to them, and when she finally did, Neville smiled at her.

Seeing him, it made her break.

"Hey, Sof? Who's the new guy here? He's so—"

His face then twisted into a concerned once when Sofia began to cry.

"Sof... what's wrong?"

She only walked up to him, and settled into his chest. He wrapped his arms around her, very confused, but knowing that she needed a hug.

Sofia continued to cried into his chest,

Another whistle.

"It's alright, Sof. You're okay."
