Chapter Sixty.

Sofia had woken up that morning to Lily staring at her, her arms crossed. She asked why she had been sleeping in the common room, and why her whole bed was stripped. Sofia explained that she just got sick, and that she didn't feel comfortable with sleeping in the dorm for the rest of the night. Of course the explanation seemed a little suspicious, but Lily mindlessly accepted it.

When Sofia got back to the dorm, her bedding was already gone. She figured someone must've taken it to be cleaned.

She started to get ready for her day with Seamus, not really putting much thought and effort into her attire. Considering in her mind, today was just another day. She watched as Dean had came to their dorm, and gave Lily some Valentine's day tests. She smiled at how happy Lily looked,

"I got something for you too, Sof." Dean smiled, walked over to her, and handed her a chocolate frog. Lily chuckled at her boyfriends's kindness, and Sofia thanked him with a bright smile on her face.

Of course Dean wouldn't say it, but it wasn't actually from him. Neville had bought it for her, but didn't have the strength to give it to her. So, he simply told Dean just to act like it was a friendly gift from the boy.

When everyone went to the Great Hall for breakfast, Sofia observed all of the loving festivities that went on around her. She watched as people gave each other gifts, girls giggling shyly from boys giving them flowers, she even saw someone having their first kiss.

"Aw! I love this time of year! Everyone just feel so... warm!" Lily exclaimed, and she looked over at Dean.

Neville rolled his eyes, a bit jealous at the fact he seemed to be the only one who didn't have plans for the day.

Seamus walked in, and sat down in front of Sofia. He slowly slid a card over to her, and she laughed as she picked it up,

"How sweet of you, Finnigan..." Sofia teased as she opened the hand made card. Seamus smiled as she read it,

"For my chocolate frog loving, voice losing, boy punching, cigarette smoking friend... I wish you a happy Valentine's day. Thank you for not letting me be alone today. From, Seamus. To, Sofia..." she read out loud. She looked over at Seamus, "You're too kind, Finnigan!" she stated dramatically, and they both laughed.

Neville watched the two intently as they began to talk about their plans for the day. He knew his friend had nothing but good intentions, but that didn't stop the jealousy that pumped violently through his veins. He was drowning in envy.

After breakfast, everyone went their separate ways to start their Valentine's day plans. Some were going to Hogsmeade, and others were staying back at the castle just to relax for the day.

Seamus and Sofia had decided on keeping the day simple. They didn't really feel like going out due to the cold weather, plus, it's not like they were going on a date or anything of the sort. They were just two friends, hanging out together, keeping each other company.

"Shit! How do you keep winning?!" Sofia whined as Seamus had won another round of the card game he had taught her,

"I'm the master of cards, Sof. No one ever beats me," he smirked, and Sofia rolled her eyes at him. "Another round?"

Sofia thought for a moment,

"Sure!"

The two continued to play card games, and they talked about random topics as the day went on.

Neville had been watching them from afar, pretending like he was studying. In reality, he really just wanted to see her happy. Every time she laughed at one of Seamus's jokes, Neville could feel himself smile as well.
