it had been a week since dream has confessed his feelings towards george.
and they had still been together and taking it slow.

the butterflies only got worse from there.
they had seen each other twice but dream had something special planned today.

a proper date.

to somewhere small, but special.
that cafe.

george had no clue that he was seeing dream today though.
and since he had a flashback a 2 days ago he hadn't left his bed since then.

so he didn't look great.

"george i understand you had a flashback but you really need to get out of that bed.

it's nearly been 3 days.

please just go take a shower and get changed"

"maybe tomorrow."

"no george. we both know you aren't going to get up tomorrow so please."

"fine."

george got up.
he was really dizzy.

but he ignored it and took his shower.

once he got changed into sweats there was a knock on the door.

"you should get that george"
bad really did want george to be productive again.
so this was a start.

george got up and he was not expecting who was at the door.

"tommy?"

"dream?"
george was so happy to see him again.

but instead of questioning it he asked something else.

"could i uh- uhm. giveyouahug?"

the both of them blushed.

"of course you can george."

he stood of his tippy toes and wrapped his arms gently around dream's neck, whilst dream wrapped his arms around george's waist.

george loved when he did that.
he rested his neck on dream's shoulder.

it felt amazing to finally hug him again.

they pulled and away, and too each others surprise, they were still blushing.

"i want to take you somewhere george."

"but i'm not dressed well-"

"it's okay. don't worry about your clothes. if you really need them i have some spare in my car. now let's go"

and off they went.

george had once again fallen asleep in the car, which dream was fine with.
he could hear his little snores quietly leave george's body.

it was cute.

"georgeeeee, we're here."
dream had said quietly.

you could see george slowly arise from his sleep and opening his eyes.

to his surprise, he was at a cafe.
but not any cafe.

the one he saw dream at before he got his EnChroma glasses.

he smiled brightly.

he really did miss this place, plus the lady that had served him last time had been streaming with him after hours.

niki nihachu her name was.

she was really kind so george was also excited to see her if she was working.

they walked in and dream ordered as george sat down.

niki saw george, but since she had a feeling this was the wrong time to speak.

she smiled.
george smiled back.

"here george."
dream had brought over the coffee.

"thank you."
"dream could i ask you something?"

"yeah of course."

"would maybe you and sapnap like to spend christmas with me, bad and skeppy?"

"i would love that george."

"good."

and the rest of that date filled the air with laughter and love.
george really did feel comfortable with dream,
and dream felt comfortable with him.

it was love.

who knew later george would be regretting not saying it now.

after the date george had gone christmas shopping since he was the only one who hadn't.

he walked around each store, he got skeppy a huge custom cardboard cutout of bad, bad a huge muffin plush, sapnap custom checkered vans with fire on them and dream.

well.
george didn't know what to get dream.
besides his merch.

but then an idea popped into his head.
dream actually didn't knew george knew this but he played the guitar.

and every now and then george had heard him play.

so he got him a new electric guitar.

he really hoped it was enough.

fortunately for george, bad was out when george got him so he could wrap the presents without worrying that he was going to see them.

he only wished that he was there to approve of the present for dream. but i guess that would have to wait.

he eventually got the presents wrapped and put them underneath the tree.

since sapnap and dream were going to stay till the 27th george got a spare bedroom ready with two single beds.

he wasn't sure if dream was comfortable sleeping with him yet, so he had done this.

dream knew that what he had gotten george wasn't enough.

it was some more of his merch and a ring.

a promise ring.

promising that he would never leave.

but he did.

he just hoped that it was the thought that counted.

and then too conclude both george's and dream's day.

they texted each other goodnight.

and went to sleep.
