Chapter 5

A/N Sorry for not updating yesterday. Made today's extra long. Cute Amelia & Blade moments as well as one for Ember & Blade. Blade is definitely my favorite from the Blood & Bones Motorcycle Club. This chapter only made me love him more! Enjoy!

Amelia's POV

"Come on let's hurry and get Cass then hopefully we can sneak out of here before he notices." I grabbed Ember's arm dragging her upstairs trying to rush.

"Woah, Amelia. Blade's not that bad and he's just being protective. They don't like me going out along after everything that happened. It will be fine with him going with us." Ember tried to reassure me.

"But we don't need a babysitter." I retorted rolling my eyes.

"I promise it's not like that you'll see."

We got Cass and made our way outside, I was still hoping that we would get outside and Blade wouldn't be there and I'd have time to convince Ember we could leave without him. Though as soon as we got outside there was Blade leaning against his truck looking is naturally sexy god like self. It's not really about Blade, but I really wanted some girl time with Ember and Cass.

Ember and Cass went a little faster and got to truck before me hopping into the backseat. So now I was forced to sit up front with Blade, those two are definitely up to something. I hopped in and smiled at Blade but he just gave me a blank look. This guy is definitely sexy, but doesn't he ever smile?

"Alright, where do we need to go to first Ember?" I turned in my seat to ask.

"To the craft store, I need more greenery and candles for the center pieces. The bakery so they can show me their final sketch for the cake. The bridal shop for my final fitting, and if it is correct we get to bring it back with us and you two will get to try on your bridesmaids dresses. Then lastly to the grocery store so I can pick up some more BBQ sauce for the reception. Those men go through it like it was water." She rolled her eyes at the end making me smile. She loves those men and enjoys caring for them I can just tell.

Blade started up his truck and pulled out of the Ranch. The stop at the craft store went quickly and the bakery was fun, but of course we couldn't help but get some extra goodies for us to take with us. Blade had been very quiet throughout the whole ordeal so far. He was never right up next to us and gave us some space so that we seemed to have privacy but close enough to keep us in his sights. He seemed to always be on high alert for any trouble. Ember interacted with him some and I could see they shared a close bond. That made me smile; Ember was always so used to taking care of everyone else, even me sometimes. Here though were Bikers that not only she took care of but they took care of her as well. She had made a family for herself; part of me couldn't help but feel a little jealous. She found a place to call home. Maybe one day I'll be able to find that too.

As we walked into the Bridal shop I could tell Blade was a little uncomfortable. "Not your cup of tea?" I nudge him gently with my shoulder teasing him. The tips of his mouth twitched at my comment, hmm maybe he can smile.

I noticed the sales lady lower her top a little to show off more cleavage as she eyed Blade up and down. Wow desperate much. I cleared my throat drawing her attention to me. She shook her head and then began to address us, "Alright let's have the bridesmaids try on their dresses in here and Bride to be we have our seamstress in here ready to help you into your dress." Then she showed us into the rooms.

Ember had chosen some beautiful bridesmaids dresses. They were an olive green and flattering to both Cass and I. I stepped out from the dressing room to see the sales lady clinging to Blades arm pushing her breasts against his arm, but his attention was not on her it was on me. The look on his face made my heart stop and took my breath away. He had a small smile on his face and his eyes were wide with awe. That smile on his face was a work of art. I couldn't help but blush at his attention. The sales lady gave me a disgruntled look, I'm guessing for interrupting her time of trying to throw herself at Blade. I decided to make her even more disgruntled and have a little fun while I'm at it.
