Dani's POV

My father sat staring back at Sienna, waiting for her to explain herself. His Alpha presence was turned up fully and he wanted to be sure she knew that she was a tolerated presence on his land.

"Are you ok?" Noah's words popped into my mind and I felt his calming presence as his hand intertwined with mine.

I smiled and leaned into him. "I'm ok."

"Well, let me start by apologizing for entering your land under such circumstances, Alpha Eli. It was not my preference, but I saw no other way to be sure we'd be able to receive an audience with Daniela if we didn't scout her out first." Sienna began. My father scowled but nodded in acknowledgment before she continued. "I've sent scouts near Blake's borders as well and I believe I have information regarding his plans concerning her and your pack."

"And you just wanted to come and share that freely did you?" My father replied sarcastically.

"No." Sienna said after a moment.

"Of course not. What's the catch then?"My father scoffed.

"I'd like to help Daniela, however is needed for her to have access to the she-wolves in my pack. I'd also like to discuss introduction of Lunar Pack to yours as several of mine are still desiring to find their mates and would like to see if they reside within your pack." Sienna said evenly. Before my father could ask the same question I asked, she continued. "And should one of my wolves mate with one of yours, they are free to go if they please. I have no desire to steal any members of your pack away. I only want what's best for my own."

My father nodded after thinking it over and finally replied. "I will never stand in the way or one's mate. But that seems like a very small request. What's in it for you?"

Sienna got a flash of revenge across her eyes as she spoke. "I'm sure you're aware by now that the story of Blake's rejected mate is true. And that that mate was me."

My father leaned forward in interest. "I have deduced that. Yes."

"I want Lunar Pack to be involved in the fight against Ember. And I'd like to personally be there when Blake is finished." I could see the hatred on her face when she spoke of Blake, but beneath it there was something more. It was pain. She grieved that loss still. Even though she hated him, at the end of it all, he was her mate and that rejection had wounded her greatly.

"That seems fair enough. And I'd honestly love to see the look on his smug face when your pack comes in with ours. That's a deal." He replied.

"Dad, I have to tell you that the Western border issue was in fact Ember. Sienna has confirmed that she saw Ember scouts there when they were watching Blake's movements." I said.

"Is that true?" My father questioned and Sienna nodded.

Noah looked at me for confirmation and I nodded reluctantly. I could feel his tension at the knowledge that this would lead to the next act of war with his family. Noah always knew that this had been his father. But suspecting it and confirming it as fact were two very different things.

"The terms are set. Do you agree to what we have requested, Alpha Eli?" Sienna's tone was firm and she seemed confident in her actions, but she knew nothing would happen without my father's official approval.
