*A/N: Thank you all for your patience! I hit a bit of writer's block mixed with a busier schedule than normal. But as always, your comments and votes help me to know what y'all are loving and wishing there were more of. Please keep at it and thank you! It means more to me than you know! :)
Dani's POV
Noah and I separated to get ready for the ceremony and headed for our respective quarters to get dressed. I carefully slid my dress on so as not to mess up my hair that my mother had worked so hard on. A small white square caught my eye on the edge of my nightstand with my name on it and I picked it up, recognizing my mother's handwriting. A smile slowly spread across my face as I read each word carefully.
Daniela,
Today is one that your father and I have dreamed of for you throughout your entire life. While I know that this ceremony is not something you've ever felt was one you needed for your path, I also know that you value those that you love and family above all else.
This moment happened so quickly for you, and you and Noah are still learning one another, but I can see that your bond is strong. I can see clearly that the love between you both is true. I can see that he matches your strengths as much as your weaknesses. He will help to build you up in the places that you are lacking, just as you will do the same for him.
My sweet girl, I have prayed for a man who would match you fully as a mate, but also for one that would let you flourish while he walked by your side. I truly believe that you have found just that, and I hope you two take this time and let this moment sink in as it should have been from the beginning. Your father and I love you dearly, and we're so happy for you to begin this new chapter of your journey. We love you, my beautiful girl, and we are waiting downstairs for you when you are ready.
All our love,
Dad & MomI wiped the tear that escaped down my cheek and smiled, holding the note close as I took one last look in the mirror. She was right. Even though I never thought I needed a mate, and never thought a man would ever be able to complete me, somehow, Noah had done just that without my even looking for him.
He was arrogant, and stubborn, and everything you expect from any Alpha male. But he was also compassionate, and endearing, and kind underneath his tough layers. He valued me for what I was. He saw that I was his partner and that my shifting gene was one to embrace, not fear. He saw my strength and instead of competing with it, he matched it with his own, wanting to make us both stronger together.
I took a steadying breath and placed the note back beside my bed before opening the door and walking downstairs. I was finally ready. I was ready to become the future leader of my pack. I was ready to become Noah's mate. His Luna.

Noah's POV
My hand hit something bunching inside of my pocket as I checked my faded dark blue suit one last time before leaving for the ceremony. I pulled out the obstruction and realized it was a note, signed from Dani's mother. I carefully read the words in the delicate script, reading each sentence with intent as I absorbed her kind sentiments and advice. I let out a slow breath and looked in the mirror, standing taller as I straightened my suit to leave.
"I don't know what brought us here, but I'm thankful for the path that lead me to Dani and to this pack. And I'm ready to finally start living the life we fought so hard for." I thought.
I slowly made my way down the path, taking my time as I absorbed the environment surrounding me before eventually walking up to where the ceremony was being held, which tucked just inside the tree line beneath the canopy.
