Noah's POV

Eli's voice boomed across the clearing. "You're a fool if you think I would ever hand over my pack to a weak wolf like you, you piece of shit."

Blake's face twisted into a look of rage as he snarled back. "So be it. Then you've signed the death warrant for your daughter and the parasite inside of her."

My father turned around to signal the guards when Anthony and Ronan's team descended down onto the clearing, already surrounding the second vehicle.

Before my father could shift and run to their section of the clearing, I made my way from my hidden spot and walked out into the sight, pulling my hood back to reveal my face. Theo's eyes caught mine first and he looked back at me in shock. He immediately looked back behind him at the second vehicle before meeting my gaze again. I looked at Owen and growled, my chest tightening with the phantom pain from his silver shot as his lip curled back in anger that I had lived.

My jaw clenched and my eyes immediately moved to meet my father's. His face was stone cold, but I knew him well enough to know he was surprised. He had believed me dead.

He chuckled darkly and walked a couple of steps closer. "You think I should be surprised by this? You think this makes a difference to me?"

I stood beside Eli and growled back in response. "How could you do this to your own flesh and blood? Does your hatred truly run that deep?"

He snorted back at me and stopped Theo from stepping forward. "You made your choice. Now you must live with the consequences of that choice. You're no son of mine."

I could hear snaps of jaws and commands that went unaided as the struggle continued behind them. I saw for a split second the door open and my heart stalled, praying this was enough to get her out.

"Then we end this now. Fight me here and now and let it be done with." I yelled.

I took several steps closer but something felt wrong. I could feel more bodies present. I could sense wolves that didn't belong with us and didn't arrive with them. I felt Eli's body respond as well and we both lowered our stances defensively. Sienna followed suit and turned to scan behind us.

"I don't need to fight you. I've already won." My father smirked back at us as more wolves came out from the clearing.

"Fuck. We're surrounded." Eli said under his breath.

I was sick of waiting. "Is she out?" I asked through the link.

Eli grunted with a nod once and I didn't wait for another response. I shifted and charged towards my father, snapping my jaws and making contact with his forearm as he tried to protect himself. He shoved me away and I felt a tear in his flesh as he quickly shifted and charged right back at me. But this time, Eli and Sienna were standing behind me, licking their fangs as they growled loudly. Anthony and Ronan's team came around and matched the new group of enforcers reinforcing the first group.

My father's ears perked and I caught a faint whiff of Dani's scent in the air. I could see he had as well and he turned from me to find where she was. I snatched his leg, pulling it from beneath him, my fangs clamping down. He howled and Owen shifted as the other wolves began to engage the rest of the group. Theo was gone and I had to focus on my father above all else right now.
