Chapter 24.

Dani's POV

I let my wolf slowly separate from Noah's as she lead us back toward our clothes. We each took our items in our mouths and I watched as Noah's energy shifted. I felt a sensual urge come over him, a lust to join together within this moment.

"Follow me." I said and lead him slowly through the woods, my wolf swishing her tail as he followed reluctantly, close behind us.

We came to a lush clearing that slowly opened up to a large crystal clear pool, shining beneath the moonlight as the waterfall above flowed smoothly into the water below. I dropped my clothes and looked at Noah as he mirrored my movements.

"Just begin to pull your wolf back out of control." He said through our link, sensing my uncertainty. "Slowly take the reigns away and push her to the back of your mind and will your body to shift into your human form."

My wolf huffed in protest but subsided as I began to tug that tether connecting my consciousness to her once more, taking control of my body and willing my own form to become dominant once again. It was uncomfortable, and a strange sensation, but slowly I felt my muscles begin to shrink and my bones begin to shift before suddenly I was looking down at my own hands and fingers, standing on my own two legs. I looked up at Noah and smiled in triumph as he quickly shifted back as well.

He stepped forward and as the moonlight fell across his body, my eyes dropped to his naked form and I couldn't stop the images flashing in my mind. I looked up to see him smirking back at me, his eyes shifting dark with desire as he closed the distance between us. I took his hand in mine and slowly stepped into the water, never releasing his gaze as the cool water crept up my body before covering both of us within it.

"It's said that our ancestors believed this pool was sacred. They believed that it had the power to heal if we allowed it. Legend states that it harnesses the power of the moon within it and feeds our land and in return, empowers us and our wolves with the energy of the moon." I said quietly, watching as his gaze slowly grew in intensity.

I could feel the desire rolling off of him. He was a true born Alpha, and the desire to join with his mate would be strongest following our ceremony, even though it was more of a formality. The symbolism still held as strong as it had in that bedroom with just the two of us making a private vow. Having alpha blood in my own veins, I felt that same pull stronger than ever. Now that the lineage of my father's heir was sealed in bond, Noah would begin channeling more power and energy as his wolf prepared for the inheritance of his new pack after we officially became mated.

His free hand slipped around my waist, his arm snaking behind my back and circling around me to pull me closer. The forest was alive around us. The very energy of the moon was buzzing as we drifted deeper into the shimmering pool. A soft wind slipped through the trees, rustling the leaves as they danced. Crickets were singing hymns of the night as the owls hooed from their cozy homes nestled within the branches.

Noah reached his hand to cup my cheek, his thumb stroking gently against my skin as his icy blue eyes pierced into mine. "You're stunning, Dani." He said lowly, his voice holding a tension as if he was fighting to restrain himself. "And you're mine...forever."

I smiled softly, my eyes fluttering down just once before lifting again to see him watching me intently. He leaned in, pulling me closer as he kissed me deeply, slowly, with a passion I'd never felt from him before. I let out a quiet sigh as I leaned into the kiss and his tongue took the opportunity to duel with my own, neither fighting for dominance but matching one another in a dance of give and take.

I slipped my arms around his neck and my hands tangled into his hair, now hanging damp nearly to his shoulders. In one quick movement, he lifted me and pulled me flush against his body. My legs instinctively wrapped around his waist as the water splashed around us, our bodies sliding against one another. I felt his erection growing against my thigh and my hips moved as if on their own, rocking against him. Noah let out a low growl and pulled me in tighter, his hand gripping into the back of my hip.

Noah's hands began to roam my body and I could feel it responding instantly to him, tingles slowly erupting from my core and working their way throughout he rest of me as the kiss became harder, more needy before we both broke apart breathless and searching for more.

"Noah..." I whispered, catching his piercing gaze as if he was waiting for my response.

Without a moment of hesitation, his lips collided with mine, the kiss now dominant and possessive, wanting to own my very soul as his tongue dove into my mouth. I gasped and matched his commanding kiss, unyielding in strength as I gripped into the back of his hair and melted my body into his own.

Noah's hand slipped down between us and seamlessly guided his erection to my entrance before sliding into me with one smooth thrust. I moaned quietly against his mouth as our bodies joined and he let out a short breath, my entire body tingling where we touched. My hips began to roll on instinct, searching for movement and pleasure, and his body shuddered against me.

"Fuck Dani." He gritted out in a whisper against my lips.

His hand ran up the back of my spine before gripping into my skin and taking control, moving my body for a deeper connection as I rocked up and down his shaft in an sensual rhythm. I moaned breathily, the water around us splashing as the moon bathed us in her glow. He gently bit down at my shoulder and breasts as he growled against my skin, the vibrations sending another pulse of pleasure through my body.

I could feel the familiar knot building and beginning to surge within my body as the intensity rose, slowly consuming me and threatening to explode and push me over the edge.

"Noah, I..." I stammered but I couldn't manage to focus my thoughts.

Noah pushed into me deeper, his hand tangling into my hair as his lips devoured my exposed neck.

"Dani...fuck. You feel too fucking good. I can't stop." He moaned and I could feel his own pleasure quickly rising as his movements became more intense and erratic, searching for relief for us both.

I rolled my hips harder in tandem with his own movements and pulled him tighter against my body as we both cried out in ecstasy, the wave of climax quickly overtaking us. In an instant, his fangs sliced into my mark and I immediately made the same movement. I bit down into the mark I'd placed at the crook of his neck, flooding both of us with an overwhelming surge of energy as both of our bodies pulsed in ecstasy, floating high above our bodies on a cloud of pure bliss.

We each tried to catch our breath, Noah's lips finding mine in a slow kiss, his tongue lazily moving with my own as we slowly came down from our high.

"I love you Noah." I whispered between us, finally opening my eyes.

I was shocked by his beauty as his blue eyes sparkled in the moonlight reflected from the pool. He truly did look like a gift from the moon herself as the light cascaded around him nearly like a halo.

His lips quirked up on the edges and he reached up to brush a wet curl from my face. "I love you too Daniela, more and more with each moment that passes."

I smiled and pressed my forehead against his. "Come on. I want to show you something."
