Dani's POV

"It's about damn time. I thought you two would never get here." Sienna groaned as she stood to greet us.

I rolled my eyes and smiled, stopping as we came into the clearing she was waiting in. "Sorry about that. This one took a bit of convincing." I nodded my head in Noah's direction and he huffed in response.

"I still think you're both fucking crazy to pull Dani away from the pack right now, but I can't say I don't understand your reasoning." He replied.

Rose returned, sweeping her cropped brown hair into a ponytail before turning to face us all. "I've done a lap and our path seems to be secure. We should go while we can."

Sienna nodded and grabbed her bag, throwing it over her shoulder. She quietly turned and lead the way to where the suv was tucked away off the road. We all hopped in as Sienna drove us towards our Northern border. They made sure to keep me in the back, secured and harder to get to behind tinted bulletproof windows. If any of Blake's scouts were looking for us, we'd get there quicker by vehicle and could hopefully outrun any threat to the border.

The trip took most of the day, and the sun slowly began to set as we pulled up to a tall gate and guard shack. An armed male towered over the side of the vehicle as he stepped up to the window, pointing his gun at Sienna as his partner circled the vehicle.

"State your business." He commanded.

The other guard came to the front and stood alert as he nodded that we were secured.

"I have business with Alpha Ronan. I am Sienna, Alpha of Lunar Pack. In the back, I have the future Alpha and Luna of Crescent Pack. We need to speak to Ronan right away." Sienna spoke evenly but firmly, demanding respect from the enforcer.

He rolled his eyes at her and stepped away, presumably to send a message to Ronan through their link before returning with a nod. "He's approved your entry. We will escort you in."

More guards replaced them at the guard shack and they walked us into the pack land, leading us to the Alpha house where a tall male I knew to be Alpha Ronan stood waiting. He was built wide and his muscular figure dwarfed the porch he stood on. His dark brown hair was pushed back off his face and his dark eyes cut into me as we stepped out of the car. His gaze felt heavy as he watched us approach and I couldn't help but feel the pressure as we came closer.

"Alpha Ronan. Thank you for agreeing to speak with us on short notice." Sienna spoke, nodding her head once in acknowledgement.

He grunted once with a tense jaw. "No notice." He replied curtly.

Sienna exhaled and then stepped out to let Noah and me step forward. "This is Noah and..."

"I know who she is." He interrupted. He walked forward, stepping down from the porch until he stood eye to eye with the two of us. "Pleasure to see you again, Daniela."

I felt Noah's body tense as he watched Ronan closely. Sienna's eyes locked on the two of us, unsure of what Ronan would do from here.

I gave him a quick smile, standing tall as I looked him directly in his eyes. "Alpha Ronan." I replied in a civil greeting.

"It's been quite some time since you last visited us here. I believe the last time was shortly after your first trip on behalf of your father; right after your birthday I think." He smirked looking down at me, ignoring Noah until he stepped closer, making his presence known.
