Chapter 13

When Doctor Strange arrived we went to Tony's office. "Just remember to not interact with anyone in the past just stand still and watch okay?" Doctor Strange said and we all nodded. I took Peter's hand and Tony's hand as Doctor Strange brought us to the past, we walked around for a bit before Doctor Strange just stopped sushed us and pointed forward. We all looked and there we were in the hospital looking at my crib, a few seconds later a person in a weird uniform appeared he grabbed me out of the crib and just like that I was gone. Doctor Strange, fast forwarded to where the person placed me back as if nothing happened. "Okay now we go the moment it all happened." Doctor Strange said and moved us to an odd looking location. "This where the creator of the stones lived. He had been looking for the right living being to invest all the powers in but couldn't find it, it had to be someone pure, otherwise they wouldn't make it. Before he reached you, he looked at every baby in the universe but you were the only pure one. So he grabbed you and brought you here." He said and motioned to watch in front of us. There was something that looked like a small bathtub and the stones were laying next to it. The man appeared with baby me in his arms giggling. He softly placed me in the bathtub. As I was seeing this all my memories came back. "He's going to place the stones in there with me before putting water in there as well. But it isn't normal water, it makes the stones glow and powers get sucked into my body. He then takes the power stone and gives me wings. Before drying me off and bringing me back." I said and after I said it it happened exactly that way. "Before he actually goed back he says to me, 'you are an angel and do you will be as long as you will be treated that way, if not it will all go away and come back when you're older.' He then plays a little with me as he brings me back." I said and they all looked at the moment that happened exactly the same way. They all looked at me before Doctor Strange bringing us back to the present. I sat down in a chair and rubbed my head as it started to hurt. "How did you know?" Doctor Strange asked, "As soon as he placed me in the bathtub I remembered." I said, "I need to sleep, I feel so tired." I said still rubbing my head. "Peter please bring Nina to her room." Tony said, "No dad, I got this." I said and as I got up and tried to walk my legs felt weak, they were so weak that I fell to the ground. "Peter." Tony said while looking at me with a sad look. Peter grabbed me and carried me to my room. "I'm fine Peter." I said as we pass Steve. "Wow hold up, what's going on?" Steve asked. "Nothing, she's just tired." Peter said and quickly walked into my room, he placed me on my bed, pulled the covers over me and sat down on my chair. I wanted to say something but before I knew it I was asleep. I dreamt about the whole event and as I got brought back I heard a voice. "Good... you remember. If you want to find answers... come to the park at 10pm." The Voice said, it sounded distorted. As the voice was gone, I woke up, Peter was still sitting in the chair. "You're still here." I said as I woke up more. "Nina... you only been asleep for 5 minutes." He said and I looked confused. "But I don't feel tired anymore, I feel like I slept for hours. I checked my phone and saw it was only 4pm. I messaged my dad.

"Peter, you want to stay over tonight?" I asked and he looked at me in confusion. "So that man who took me as a baby asked me to meet him at 10 pm in the park, I told my dad and he wants you to come along. Plus it would be fun." I said and he smiled. "No need, I talked to aunt May last night and she thinks it's a great idea for to move in here. I was actually gonna ask you if you could come with me to get my things." He said and I ran over to him and jump in his arms. "Of course I will. This will even be more fun." I said and he laughed. "Well let's go then, then we're back in time for dinner." He said and I jumped off of him. "Okay Turn around Parker." I said, he turned around and I quickly changed back into my outfit of the day. "Okay done, let's go." I said and grabbed my keys and phone. He opened the door for me and we locked our arms together as we walk towards the garage. As we were getting in my car we heard someone yell for us. When I looked around I saw it was Steve. "Hey where are you guys going?" He asked looking confused. "Getting Peter's stuff, he's moving in, why?" I asked. "Because a few minutes ago you looked like you were about to die." He said and I saw worry in his eyes. "I just needed a powernap that's all, nothing to worry about." I said and smiled at him, he nodded and stepped out of the way. Peter and I got in the car and we drove off to his house. "Well he seemed pretty worried, huh?" He said as he looked at me. "I guess." I said unsure what to say. "You like him, don't you?" He said as he wiggled his eyebrows at me, I laughed and playfully pushed him. "Stop it." I said and he laughed as well. "I take that as a yes, you do know he is supposed to be a grandpa right, he is actually 100 years old." He said and smiled at me. "Maybe I just like older men." I said, "Right now he is what? 35 years old just based on his body and stuff." I said. "I guess so but he is still old." Peter said and shrugged his shoulders. "Well I think when it comes to love, age is just a number." I said, "What about MJ?" I asked to change the topic. "What about her?" He said and sat straight up. "When will you stop secretly crushing and just tell her how you feel?" I asked and laughed. "I uh...I... you think she'll like me?" He asked and I smiled. "Whoever doesn't like you is their loss." I said as I pulled into a parking spot near his building. "I'll tell her soon." He said and I smiled at him before getting out of the car. "Good." I said we went up to his flat and when we came in Happy was there. "Uncle H.?" I said, "Aunt May?" Peter said we looked at them and then at each other. "NOPE!" We said and quickly went into Peter's room to get his stuff. We packed everything quickly and ran out the door again. "NICE MEETING YOU." I yelled to May before the door closed. We put everything in the trunk and got into the car. We just sat there for a bit, "That was weird." I said and Peter just nodded. "Maybe it's for the better that I move into the compound." He said and started laughing, I joined in as we started to drive back to the compound. When we arrived at the compound we went straight to his new room and put everything in place before I got a message.

I show the messages to Peter and he laughed. "Yeah like it wasn't obvious you both like each other." He said and I chuckled. "Trust me I know, I can read minds, remember?" I said as we walked towards the kitchen. "Yeah I know." He said. We grabbed a plate and put our food on there, as we sit down everyone is staring at us. "Do you know why they're staring." I whisper to Peter and just shakes his head. "Do we have something on our face?" I say to the others and Nat laughs. "No just the 2 juniors of the team moving in here together in 1 day." She said and I looked at Peter and then back at her. "So... then why exactly are we stared at?" I asked, "are you guys-" she said but I cut her off. "No we didn't do anything and we never will because we are just best friends. Now can we please eat in peace?" I asked and sighed deeply. Nat nodded and we all ate in silence.
