Chapter 61

*The next morning*
Morgan woke up and looked at me. "Hey good morning little troublemaker." I said as I smiled at her and rubbed the hair out of her face. "Good morning." She said as she stretched and I started tickling her. "NO STOP, DON'T DO THAT!" Morgan yelled while tears of laughter rolled down her face and the door swung open. "Really? At 6am?" Tony said as he rubbed his eyes. "Go get him." I whispered in Morgan's ear as she ran to Tony and started tickling him. He ran away as she ran after him, Pepper walked into my room, closing the door and sat down on my bed. "Hey I heard about the whole situation with Steve. Are you okay?" She said and I shrugged. "I kind of hate myself for it tho." I said and looked down. "Don't, it means you can be happy with Steve and you deserve all the happiness in the world." She said and hugged me. "But what about him cheating." I asked and she smiled as she pulled away. "Oh he has to prove himself but after that... I know you guys will be a stronger couple." She said as the door opened up and Tony was standing there with Morgan on his back. "Help." He said as he tried to catch his breath, Pepper got up while laughing and took Morgan off his back before walking downstairs. Tony walked over and sat down next to me. "So?" He said and I laughed. "Go ahead, judge me dad." I said and looked at him. "I'm not... I'm judging him." He said and smiled at me. "What's the plan?" He asked and I looked outside the window. "We pretend nothing changed, you all still judge him, I still avoid him and if I end up in the same room with Steve we all have a depressed conversation as I still ignore Steve. Oh and then you will plan a party and 'forget' to invite me and I'll just barge in. Oh make sure when we fo all expensive things are gone, I will be breaking things." I said and smiled proudly. "Sometimes I wonder if you are my daughter, cause this doesn't sound like my daughter." He said and we laughed. "Everybody has a wicked side dad." I said and sighed. "I have to admit that I don't want it to take too long." I said and looked down. "Why sweetheart? What's wrong?" He asked and I looked back up. "So I had nightmares before but... please don't get angry, I slept in Steve's room every night ever since Hydra. When I slept there I had no nightmares at all and felt completely safe, well... now ever since I slept here I've been having nightmares every hour in the night. So last night I didn't sleep at all because I didn't want Morgan to wake up from it." I said and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. He just looked at me in silence for a bit. "She slept in Steve's room? Stay calm Tony, stay calm, it was just to help her sleep, they haven't had sex yet." He thought to himself as he smiled at me and I laughed. "Dad I can hear your thoughts remember?" I asked and his eyes widen. "Oops, sorry about that." He said and I chuckled. "And no dad we indeed didn't have sex yet." I said and he pushed me down. "Well go try to get some sleep, we'll keep Morgan busy." He said and kissed my forehead. "I'll let the others know the plan." He said as he walked out. I smiled and turned on my side staring a bit into the distance before falling asleep.

*A few hours later*
I woke ip from yelling. "TONY JUST LET ME TALK TO HER!" Steve yelled as he got closer. I locked the door with my mind as I sat up and walked to the bathroom. "NO STEVE LEAVE HER ALONE, SHE DOESN'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU SHE MADE THAT VERY CLEAR!" Tony yelled and I smiled before getting in the shower. While I was showering I got a great idea and I connected my voice to the speakers "accidentally" as I started to sing.

I decided to step it up and started to cry as I started to sing the next song.

I turned my powers off and smiled as I cleaned my face after crying and got out of the shower. I got dressed and walked out of my room.
The outfit:

I looked around the corner to see if Steve was still downstairs. I saw him and made tears roll down my face again, I smeared them over my cheeks and sniffled. I walked down the stairs and walked towards the living room and looked up, I looked at Steve and quickly walked to the kitchen. I grabbed a bowl, spoon, cereal and milk and Teleported myself to my room as I saw Steve coming towards me. I locked the door again and proudly ate my cereal as I heard Steve and the others yell again. I heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I said with a sad voice. "It's me." Peter said and I quickly let him in before locking the door again. I sat back down and smiled at him. "You're really enjoying this aren't you?" He said and laughed as he sat down next to me and I nodded. "Of course, he has to feel some pain." I said and he laughed. "You should have seen his face when he heard you sing. The first song his face was just like 'ugh how could I do this' and then when you started to cry with the other song his entire face dropped and I saw the pain in his eyes." Peter said and I smiled. "Good he has to feel what I felt somehow without actually feeling the same pain." I said and gasped as I got an idea. "Wanna join in?" I asked and he looked confused. "Let's pretend that we hooked up." I said and he laughed. "Whatever it takes I will always be by your side." He said and we laughed at the idea of us hooking up. I messed up his hair, pulled a bit on his shirt so it gets creasy and sent him back out there. "PETER!" Tony yelled and I opened up the door a little. "STEVE LET HIM GO!" Nat yelled as she pulled Peter out of Steve's arms. Steve angrily walked out and I quickly ran downstairs. "Peter are you okay?" I asked as I kneeled down next to him and he just started laughing. After thinking a little, I started to laugh with him as the others looked confused. "Nina how can you do this, this goes too far." Bucky said and I shook my head. "If it really happened yes but we just pretended." I said and Peter and I laughed even harder. "I wasn't sure it would work tho." I said as I wiped away the tears from laughter. They all just stared at me. "Sorry guys but it will get worse." I said and got up. "You see I will walk in to the party in a few days and will let some guys be there that I pay to come "bother me" so that he will get jealous and I will "smash" their head on to the bar. After that it will be done I promise. But first a few "dates" who if you want to be the lucky guy?" I asked and looked around the room. "I'll do it." Peter and Bucky said. "Oh even better... two of you." I said and smiled. "Yes I know this will make me look like a slut. Which is exactly the point and I will tell him everything after we made up again. But acting like a slut will show me if he really loves me or not, if he still wants me after then we are fine." I said and walked away. "She thought of everything." Nat said and I walked back m. "Oh by the way, Bucky our date is tomorrow, think of a great place. Peter you are the day after dor you the same message. Oh and make sure Steve will be there or Sharon." I said and smiled. "Preferably Sharon so she can try to show him 'she's better'." I said and walked away again.
