Chapter 34

*In the evening*
I was sitting behind the piano just thinking about everything that had happened, about what happened today, about Steve, while playing some random melody. I stopped and gasped. I quickly ran to my room, grabbed my song writing notebook and ran back. I almost ran into Steve but I quickly slid through his legs while humming the melody and ran further. He turned around in confusion "Nina?" He asked. "Can't talk." I said quickly and hummed the melody again. I arrived at the piano and played the same melody and the wrote it down. Steve walked into the living room and kept standing in the door post watching me. I heard people whispering to each other about what was going on as everybody dropped in one by one as I kept writing the melody further. Eventually I forgot my surroundings and it was just me and the piano as I also wrote lyrics. I felt pride coming over me and it made me smile. I closed my notebook and was about to get up when I saw everyone standing there. "Uhm... hi." I said as I sat back down. "Tony... did you know your daughter wrote songs." Steve asked and Tony just stared at me. "No I did not." He said and then he realized the song I always played was also mine and he gasped. "Youuuuuuu." He said and pointed at me as he walked over to me and I tried not to turn red as I hid behind my notebook. "I.... got to go bye." I said and teleported outside to the field, just as Tony was going to grab my shoulders. I forgot how cold it was, I put up a shield around me to protect me from the cold and sat in it fine tuning the song. When I finished it I went back inside. "Well... look who decided to come back, where have you been?" Tony asked. "Well I WAS playing hide and seek but since no one went looking for me I decided to just come back myself then." I said and smirked and Peter bursted out laughing. "Sorry I just saw you underneath the sink hiding in my head." He said and I smiled. "I know." I said and he quickly stopped laughing. "Ahem... right mind reading." He said and smiled awkwardly. "Well more hearing." I said and playfully pushed him. "Anyway I'm gonna sleep." I said and turned around and started to skip away humming the new song. I changed in my PJ's and laid down in bed.
The PJ's:

I heard everybody else go to bed as well. I turned on my side and tried to sleep. I've been turning for a few hours and I almost fell asleep when my window got shattered, I sat up and 2 masked men jumped into my room. I panicked and froze in place, all I could do was scream and I screamed as loud as I could. They walked over and grabbed my arms and put cuffs on, I felt right away they were blocking my powers. "STEVE HELP ME!" I screamed and as they pulled me out the window with them I saw Steve run in "FIND ME." I screamed to Steve as tears streamed down my face. I tried to fight as hard as I could when I felt something hit me on the back of my head and everything turned black.

Steve's POV
"F.R.I.D.A.Y. Call Stark and everybody right now." I said as I saw them fly off in the distance. I walked out of her room and slammed the door with anger. Nat came running out her room. "What's wrong?" She asked, I fought my tears and shook my head. "Let's wait for Stark." I said as I walked towards the conference room. Everybody slowly got in and Tony was the last one to get in. "What's wrong?" Tony said and looked around. "Where's Nina?" He asked as he didn't see her. "S-she uhm..." I started to say and cleared my throat. "She got kidnapped tonight." I said as I looked at the table. "WHAT? BY WHO?" Tony screamed. "I-I-I don't know." I said and looked up as a tear streamed down my face. "I didn't get in her room in time. They shattered her window and put some kind of bracelets on her arms, they seemed to block her powers. They wore masks." I said and dropped in a chair. "HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN?" Tony yelled at me and I got up. "YOU THINK I LIKE THIS? THE WOMAN I LOVE JUST GOT TAKEN BY GOD KNOWS WHO AND I WILL FIND, IF IT'S THE LAST THING I'LL DO." I screamed and slammed my fist on the table. Tony and I stared at each other for a while before I walked out, I suited up, grabbed the motorcycle and drove off to find Nina.
