Chapter 64

*The next evening*
Tony already left for the party that we've been planning together and I was getting ready when Pepper walked into my room. "You're almost ready?" She asked as I was in the bathroom. "Yeah just one more thing." I said as I finished my hair. "There done." I said and walked out of the bathroom. "Well hello to you too." She said and looked at me in awe. "Too much?" I asked and she shook her head. "Not at all, now turn around for me." She said and I turned around.

"Oh you are going to get this man." She said and smiled at me. "I don't want to see you here tomorrow morning." She said and I laughed. "Yes m'am." I said and we walked downstairs. "Can you drop me off?" I asked and she nodded. She went to wake up Morgan and I took a deep breath. We walked to the car. "You look pretty." Morgan said and I smiled. "Thanks little one." I said and we as we drove to the compound. Outside Bucky was waiting for me. "Wow you look amazing." Bucky said when he opened my door and I smiled. "Thank you." I said and he offered his hand as I got out of the car. "Thanks Pepper, bye Morgan." I said as Bucky closed the door. "Are you ready?" He asked and I nodded. "Is she already here?" I asked and he scoffed. "Oh yeah and she keeps telling everyone how YOU attacked her." He said and we both laughed. "Right. Even if I wanted to really bad I would never start it." I said and he smiled. "Exactly, nobody believes her even when she is crying those fake tears." He said and I smiled at him. "Thanks Buck." I said and he walked in before me. "Guess who I found outside. "He said loud enough for everyone to hear before I walked in. "Someone forgot my invitation." I said and I heard Sharon sigh right away. "Ugh if you don't have an invitation don't show up." She said and laughed looking at everybody hoping they would join in. "Oh like you last time? Or yesterday trying to tag along with Peter and I?" I asked and smiled arrogantly and sat down between Peter and Bucky as everyone else carried on. "Ugh that is so not true." She said and I looked at Peter. "Jupp she did but she got pushed back all the way to the end of the line cause she cut and tried to get in with us." He said and we started laughing. "I'll get you a drink." He said and I smiled. "Thank you." I said as he got up. "What is he your boyfriend now? You really lowered your standards huh?" Sharon said and I looked at Tony who slowly shook his head. "First of all I didn't lower anything like you just did with your top... you think no one sees how you try so hard to get Steve that you almost drop your boobs out of your top? And second of all, Peter is my best friend, not my boyfriend." I said and Peter got back with a Cherry Vodka for me. "Here you go." He said as he handed it to me. "Thanks Parker." I said and smiled. "You got him really wrapped him around your finger don't you?" Sharon asked and I sighed. "No SHARON, you see this is how being best friends work...you do things for each other, you hang out together, GO out together and be there no matter what. Obviously you never experienced that." I said and took a sip. "Then why didn't he defend you when I came at you yesterday." She said and I smiled. "Thank you for admitting it and because he knows I can handle it myself, I don't need saving." I said and she looked shocked. "N-n-no I didn't admit to anything cause there is nothing to admit to." She stuttered and I laughed. "Good luck getting out of this one. You see I had a witness who can tell you exactly what happened." I said and took another sip as Peter told everyone what exactly happened yesterday. "Do we need to kick her out?" Clint asked and I shook my head. "Nah not worth it." I said as I downed my drink. "Let's play truth or dare." Nat said and I smiled. "Okay, I'll go first." Sharon said "This should be good." We all thought to ourselves. "Nina, truth or dare?" She said and I rolled my eyes. "Truth." I said and she smiled. "Is it true that you've kissed Peter in the club yesterday?" She asked and Peter and I burst out laughing. "Stop making shit up. We never kissed not even close to." I said and Peter and I continue laughing. Steve looks confused at me. "Okay my turn. Sharon truth or dare." I said and she excitedly smiles. "Truth." She said. "Obvious question of course, if I like Steve." She thought to herself as I leaned forward. "Is it true that you're a whore?" I asked quietly and everybody gasped. "What did you call me?" She asked and I smiled as I leaned back. "I didn't CALL you anything, I just asked a question. You have to answer honestly tho, it's called truth for a reason." I said and made a fake sympathetic face. "Ugh." She said as she stormed out. "BYE! DON'T FORGET YOUR DIGNITY! OH WAIT YOU DON'T HAVE THAT!" I yell after her as I jumped up. "Victory dance." I said and Peter and Bucky jumped up as we did a victory dance. Everybody stared at me and I just smiled. "Oh come on we were all thinking it." I said as I sat back down anyway Nat-" I said but Sharon cut me off by coming back in. "God damn it, the front door is that way." I said and pointed in the direction. "Oh you don't win that easily." She sat and sat close to Steve who awkwardly moved away from her and I tried not to smile. "I'm not trying to win anything." I said and she fake smiled at me. "Nat truth or dare." She said and Nat sighed. "Truth." She said. "Is it true that deep down you hate Nina?" Sharon asked and Nat looked at me before everyone except for Sharon bursted out laughing. "Woman you're delusional." Nat said when she was done laughing. "No I love Nina." She said and we both smiled. "Truth or dare Nina." She asked and I smiled. "Dare." I said and Sharon let out an annoyed sigh. "Ugh of course you say dare." She said but we ignored it. "I dare you to dedicate a song to someone and make the performance as big as possible." She said and smiled. "Easy." I said and I looked at Tony. "Are the sprinklers turned off?" I asked and he looked confused. "Uh... F.R.I.D.A.Y. Turn the sprinklers off." He said and I walked towards the piano and everyone went to stand as an audience. "Hello everybody, I got dared to sing a song and make it big as I dedicate it to someone. Please enjoy the show and who it is dedicated to will be clear soon." I said and Sharon tried to get close to Steve who kept moving away from her. I smiled and I sat down at the piano and I started to play and sing.

I added 2 clones of myself as back up singers, Josh Devine as the drummer and made the piano play by itself as I placed a headset mic on my head and went along with the beat by hitting my chest and snapping my fingers. When I sang the words "I hope you catch me when I land" I teleported myself above Steve and when the beat kicked in he caught me. I created concert fireworks and almost at the end I spun myself up in the air and created sparks as I kept spinning. At the very end I slowly landed on my feet again in front of Steve. At first we just looked at each other and then passionately kissed each other. Sharon stormed out as we pulled away. "We need to talk." I said softly and he nodded. Everybody cheered and Steve picked me up. "Well we call it a night." He said and as he carried me away I used my powers to turn everything back to normal.
