Chapter 44

*A few days later*
I woke up and was getting ready for school. I was finally allowed to go back to school and the bracelets were finally removed. I put in my earphones and was listening to music as I walked to the kitchen to drink some water. I put my music so loud, I couldn't here Peter walk in, he tapped my shoulder and I almost attacked him. I took out my earphone and sighed deeply. "Damn it Parker, don't scare me like that." I said as I leaned forward and he laughed. "I'm sorry, ready to go?" He asked and I nodded before finishing my water. We walked to the garage and Steve stopped me without Peter noticing. "Good morning beautiful." He said and I smiled while blushing. "Good morning to you too." I said as he smiled and he held my hand. "Good luck at school, I love you." He said and kissed me. "I love you too." I said as we pulled away. "I gotta go." I said before kissing his cheek and ran towards Peter. We got in the car and drove off to school.
When we arrived flash was waiting. "Oh look who decided to come to school after all." Flash said as I walked further and Peter quickly walked with me. "HEY STARK, YOU'RE TOO GOOD FOR US NOW?" He yelled and I smiled as my eyes lightly flickered. "What did you?" Peter asked as he saw my smile. "We'll know in 3...2...1..." I said and turned us around just in time to see Flash being covered in bird poop. We laughed quietly and walked to class. "Anyone seen mister Thompson?" The teacher asked and we shook our heads. "I saw him earlier in the parking lot tho." I said and shrugged my shoulders. Peter tried not to laugh. "Peter what is so funny?" The teacher asked and I was trying really hard not to laugh. "Nothing miss Johnson, just thought of something funny." He said and turned red so I backed him up. "Sorry miss Johnson, the last couple of days he has been randomly thinking of the night I got extremely drunk and I have to admit it was pretty funny." I said and laughed with Peter. "Well stop that, my class will not be interrupted." She said and we both cleared our throats and nodded to her. She moved on with her class and 10 minutes later Flash ran in. "I'm sorry miss Johnson, I had to go back home and change my clothes." He said and Peter and I bursted out laughing. "Nina, Peter... detention today." She said and we laughed even harder. "Grab your things and go to the principal now." She said and pointed at the door. We grabbed our things while still laughing and walked to the principal's office. We arrived wiped away our tears from laughing. "Nina, Peter... come in." He said and opened up the door for us. We walked in and sat down. "So why are you here?" He asked as he leaned back in his chair. "We couldn't stop laughing." I said as we tried not to laugh again. He looked at us with a serious look on his face. "So what is so funny?" He said as he leaned forward and leaned on his desk. "Well, it started with Peter thinking of a night I was extremely drunk and then Flash ran in after changing his clothes because we saw it happen when a lot of birds pooped on him and to us that is funny cause he has been bullying us." I said and looked at Peter. He looked at me and we both started laughing again. "Okay okay enough." He said and got up, you'll be having detention 3 times after school." He said and opened the door. "Oh my god my dad is gonna kill us." I said as we walked out laughing and Peter just nodded.

*After school*
We walked into detention and we sat down. "Okay no talking, no food, no phones, all you can do is watch this 2 hour long video." The teacher said as he put the video on and sat down. The video started and we saw Steve appear on the screen and we bursted out laughing. "Nina, Peter, quiet." The teacher said and pointed at us. We quietly laughed the whole video and got up as soon as we could go. "Oh my god that was so funny." I said and dried my eyes. We walked to the car when my phone rang, I put it on speaker and we got in the car. "Hey dad." I said as I turned on the car engine. "Where are you two?" He asked angrily and Peter and I tried not to laugh. "Uhm... we are still at school." I said and put on our seatbelts. "Why?" He asked calmer now and I looked at Peter who looked back at me. "We were in detention, I have to go now bye dad." I said and as I hung up I could hear him yell. "DETENTION?!" We drove back to the compound while mocking Steve and Tony. We walked in laughing and everybody looked at us. "Oh come on, cheer up we didn't even do anything bad. Well I dod but that is not the reason for our detention." I said and tried not to laugh again. "What...did...you...do?" Tony asked carefully but angry. "We laughed." I said and shrugged my shoulders as I was about to walk to the kitchen. "HOLD IT YOUNG LADY!" Tony yelled and I stopped. "You laughed and then you get detention?" He asked and Peter bursted out laughing. "You will with miss Johnson, who can't handle a little chaos." He said while still laughing and I was biting my lip to not laugh with him. I let my head down and closed my eyes in the hope it would help. "What did you do that was bad." Tony said and I could hear he was standing right behind me. "I may have made a group of birds poop on Flash." I said still trying not to laugh but Peter just laughed uncontrollably and fell to the ground and I couldn't hold it anymore and walked further. Tony grabbed my arm and turned me around. "Go to your room young lady." He said and looked at Peter. "You too." He said and Peter and I walked off laughing. "BYE PETE!" I yelled to Peter and he waved. "BYE NINA!" He yelled back as we both closed the door. I laid down on my bed and eventually I succeeded in stopping to laugh.
