"Brilliant that they've extended Spring holiday instead of having one week now and another during Easter, don't you think?" Rose was babbling away, reclined on Scorpius's bed as she had already finished her packing for the upcoming two week break. Punctual and prepared, as always.

"It is a bit nice, yeah." Albus replied, watching Scorpius fold his clothes for him, the boy had no faith in his laundry skills-- and rightfully so.

"It's perfect because we won't have to interrupt our study time with another trip back home. Now once we get back it's just cram, cram, cram until O.W.L.S!" Rose said, scooching off the bed to join the two boys on the floor of the dormitory. It was the 26th of March, that evening they would all board the Hogwarts Express back to London before enjoying two blissful weeks at Bill and Fleur's house in Tinworth by the coast. The two had moved into a small cottage there after newly marrying during the war but since then they had built a rather large house in it's place to house their three children.

Dominique Weasley was in her seventh year, Victoire had graduated some years ago and was to be marrying Teddy any day now. Louis was in his fourth year, and while he was close to Albus and Scorpius's age, the boy had his own friends and they only ever got to talking on holidays with the rest of the Weasley's.

For as long as they could remember, Albus and Rose spent Spring Holiday with the Weasley-Delacours every year, Scorpius of course joined in on this tradition soon after their days at Hogwarts began. Bill loved having the entire family over, they had numerous guest rooms for this very reason and Molly was always happy to help Fleur host the large gathering of family every year.

Albus, Rose, and Scorpius couldn't wait. It was always beautiful at the coast in the springtime with the right amount of sun and breeze that made their days down at the beach the most enjoyable. The doors to the house were always open so the children could filter in and out for meals and time outside while the adults congregated in the large dining room or outdoor seating area which was clad with string lights as they drank magical cocktails.

Sometimes they would go out for dinner and dancing in the nearby small town. They would play quidditch matches at night, play music and lounge, and just enjoy a relaxing change of pace for the duration of their stay. Even with the increasingly large amount of people, it never felt cramped or rushed at the coast.

"I don't want to hear another word about O.W.L.S. the moment we leave this castle, you hear me Rosie?" Scorpius said, pointing a warning finger at her. She merely rolled her eyes, mouthing: "Fine." before looking around at their mess of belongings on the floor.

"I'm going to go down to get lunch with the girls." She said, jumping to her feet, "I'll bring you two something back. It might make you work faster."

"Some of us like to take our time!" Albus called to her over his shoulder as she traipsed to the staircase. For a few moments it was quiet as the two boys continued to pack their bags, then they heard footsteps climbing the stairs.

"Ah packing last minute are we? I noticed your broomstick in the locker rooms," Cory Walker said as he entered the room, carrying his broomstick in one arm and Scorpius's in the other, "Figured you wouldn't want to leave it there over holiday, mate." he said, setting it down on Scorpius's bed.

"Oh thanks!" Scorpius said graciously, getting to his feet, he clasped hands with Cory, "I appreciate it." Cory nodded and crossed to the other side of the room to set his broom beside his own packed bags. The two boys had reconciled fairly quickly. Cory was a laid back guy, he was understanding about the whole situation and never held a grudge or any identifiable resentment. It had been almost a month since the punching incident but for all he knew, it could've been years and years ago.
