"You must have heard us wrong." Scorpius spat, standing arms crossed in the middle of the dormitories.

"I'm pretty sure I heard you two perfectly well," Jacob sneered, "Boyfriends." He taunted, a smug look upon his face. He had been lurking in the staircase, of course, listening to Scorpius and Albus's conversation, but just the end of it...thankfully. Albus and Scorpius had broken apart cautiously when they thought they heard a scuffle beyond the doorway, just in time for Jacob to swagger in and tell them what he had heard.

"Why were you spying on us anyways?" Albus snarled, standing by his four poster.

"I wasn't. At first," Jacob said, cocking his head to the side, "I was just coming in to grab a scarf, it's cold down at the pitch. Then I heard voices, I knew they were familiar. I thought it was strange for students to be here instead of watching the game...but it all makes sense doesn't it. It's the perfect time to be alone."

"You can't say a word-"

"Scorp!" Albus exclaimed, still under the impression that they were going to pretend like Jacob must have heard wrong.

"I never said I was going to." Jacob said, raising his arms innocently.

"You would." Scorpius glared, his mouth taught into a line.

"What makes you have no trust in me?" Jacob asked, crossing his arms before leaning slyly against the doorway to the stairs, "Is it because I kissed your boyfriend? Because I didn't know he was at the time." He said, guilelessly. But his smirk said otherwise, he was relishing in this moment. Scorpius curled his fingers into fists and they shook at his sides.

"You can't say a word." He repeated through gritted teeth. Jacob's nonchalance was making him angrier.

"I won't...perhaps. I just think it was a shame I never got to try both of you." Jacob pouted. Albus sped forward, ready to lunge. Scorpius spun around, clapping both of his hands to Albus's chest to stop him.

"Albus, don't. He's not worth it." Scorpius breathed, looking into Albus's dangerous eyes which were glued on Jacob. He was still leaning in the doorway, looking pleased at Albus's reaction. This was all a game to him, entertainment.

A way to enjoy his last days at Hogwarts before he would never see Scorpius and Albus again. That's what made him so daring, so eager to rile them up, the clock was ticking and in a few days he would have to go back to Ilvermorny where his ex-boyfriend had just broken up with him, where he didn't have any genuine friends, where he was nearly flunking out. Albus and Scorpius didn't know any of this anyways. Right. Not a lot of time...might as well have fun. Jacob concluded.

"Are you going to tell people?" Scorpius asked, spinning back around when he was sure Albus was restrained. Jacob shrugged, puppeteering their anxiety, when he would bring them relief and when he would make it spike...it was all in his hands.

"Let's make a deal. I have secret information that you don't want to get out and you have something I want. It's a win win." He suggested, pushing off the doorframe. He walked slowly, inching into the room.

"What is it?" Albus asked unsurely from behind Scorpius.

"It's what I said. I want to try both of you. You really had me fooled Scorpius, I had no idea you were dating little Albus here."

This time Scorpius instinctively turned around, knowing Albus was going to react. He grabbed the wand Albus had just brandished from his pocket, planning on which hex he'd like to try, "Albus, don't." Scorpius said in a low voice, stashing Albus's wand in his pocket.
