Helping STARISH

"What's up you two?"

"Oh sis! You're still up?" Otoya looks surprised to see me.

"Angel! Why are you still awake?" Natsuki seemed just as shocked to see me.

"I should be asking that to the both of you." I head down the stairs to talk to them eye to eye.

I originally was planning to relax by myself considering I'll be working with Camus next week. Though I didn't want to admit it I was very nervous.

"I heard from the others you were having a hard time?" I sat on the couch. Remembering past conversations I had with others.

"Yeah..." Otoya looks away ashamed.

"Mind telling me what its about?" I smile at the two, not wanting to pressure them further.

"We're the main roles for a musical." Natsuki starts. "They gave us such difficult roles." It's rare to see him so down.

"I'm supposed to act cool and serious." Otoya hands me his script and I scan over it while listening to them. "I tried copying Tokiya as the others suggested but it didn't work."

"And I'm supposed to act strong and confident." Natsuki stares at the floor. "I asked Syo about it and he showed me a movie of Mr.Hyuga."

"Didn't work?" I ask in a small voice.

They both nod.

"Then director told us that we were too stiff the 1st time."

"Then yesterday he said that we needed to act more like ourselves." Otoya scratches his head in frustration.

"Hmm..." I look at their musical sheet with fully written lyrics. I silently went up to the piano and sat down. "I think what the director wanted to say to you two is to act natural. Natural in the sense that you shouldn't change yourselves entirely for the role. Act as if it's an extension of yourselves...If that makes sense."

"Sis.."

"Angel..."

"Let me play a bit for you guys." I play their duet song on the piano filling the entire room with beautiful tunes.

I finish their song and they began to thank me profusely. Obviously, I told them that I just did what I could to help them. They began working again and so I left them to focus on their work.

The day the two will perform came and thankfully the rest of STARISH had a free schedule so we all watched them live on the big stage.

The musical began and we immediately see Natsuki and Otoya. We watched the show with admiration and then music began to play for their song.
