Their Plans

Reached 700 followers so I'm releasing a chapter! Woohoo! Thank you everyone! Just wanted to share that I'm currently updating a fan fic of Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia if anyone is interested hehe.

"Ranmaru, what do you think about this part?"

"Mmm. It could use more of this." He takes my pen and writes new notes.

"This part could be faster." Ai then takes my pen and writes down his thoughts.

"Mmm! This is better!" Reiji hums the piece and approves.

I was over at QUARTET NIGHT's apartment where we were making their song for the competition. Though I should be the only one composing, they were very involved in the process unlike before. They seem much more inspired now that HEAVENS has joined in.

"Alrighttt!" Reiji claps his hands to get our attention. "Let's take a break and eat!"

"I agree." Camus sits back and drinks his tea.

"What should we eat?" My stomach begins to grumble as I think of the possible things to eat.

"I can call delivery." Ai spoke.

"Or we could cook?" Reiji's eyes sparkles.

"Do you guys have ingredients here?" I ask a bit excited to bond with them more.

"What do you plan on making?" Ranmaru heads over to the refrigerator to check.

"Hmmm....What about sukiyaki?" My mouth was already drooling.

"You know how to make it?" Reiji asks in amazement.

"Yeah! It's an easier way though."

"The ingredients are tofu, mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, green onion, meat-" Ai begins to list down the ingredients.

"Yeah, we have most of it here." Ranmaru takes out the ingredients. "I'll help you out." He hands me an apron and wears one as well.

"I'll help out too!" Reiji gets his own apron. "Ai and Camus help out too!"

"I'd rather not." Ai refuses right away.

"You would make me do peasant work?" Camus glares at him.

They say that but once I asked them nicely they agreed right away. This left Reiji sulking for a while.

We began cooking with ease. Their teamwork was perfect even when cooking. Ranmaru was talented in preparing the ingredients while Reiji has a trained tongue in testing out the flavors. Ai did better than I thought however Camus needed a lot of supervision from all of us.

Finally, we were able to eat. We set the table and blessed our meal.

"MMM!!!" Reiji looks like he was about to go to heaven.

"It's perfect." Ai smiles as he eats the food.

"Not bad." Even Camus seems to enjoy it.

"Can you send me the recipe of this after?" Ranmaru asks in between bites.

"Sure."

We all eat between small conversations and finish up to get back to work.

A few days passed and finally, we were finished with the song.

"Now to write the lyrics!" Reiji excitedly hums the song.

We spent the next 2 days finishing the lyrics of the song.

"It has a nice ring to it." Ranmaru grins at the paper.

"You exceeded my expectations." Camus nods.

"Thank you!" I bow and smile. "By the way, what will you all be doing after this?"

"What do you mean by that?" Ai tilts his head.

"I mean with the duet project with HEAVENS and STARISH, they'll eventually gain more popularity than you guys."

"Could it be you're worried for us?" Reiji teases.

"You didn't tell her?" Ranmaru looks at him.

"Tell me what?" It's now my turn to tilt my head.

"We're going on a nationwide tour!" Reiji acts like he's surprising me.

"Tour?!? Around the country???" It was such a big step for them to take. Not that they couldn't handle it. "Are you serious??"

"Does it look like we're joking?" Camus raises a brow at me. Okay, mister serious.

"What? Will you miss us?" Ranmaru teases me while ruffling my hair.

"As if!" I jab his sides which made him chuckle. "But congratulations! I'm so proud of you all!" It was like yesterday that their group was falling apart. Now, look at them all grown up and going on tour.

"You better prepare yourself." Reiji lifts my chin up to face him. "We'll be winning this."

"We'll be growing even more than all of them." Ai boasts while smiling.

"We won't lose," Ranmaru smirks. "Soon you'll be ours."

"We'll show you just how far superior we are to them." Camus cups my cheek and makes me stare at his cold determined eyes.

"At this point, I don't care who wins." That's the half-truth. "But you all better not make light of my songs."

They all smiled and challenged me as well with their gazes. If they wanted to fight over me, I'll make them fight with my music. If they can't keep up, they lose.

I head back to my place and crashed immediately.

The day came where QUARTET NIGHT was departing for their first show.

"Call or text me if you want to change anything with the song okay?" I wave to them as they were heading up their private plane.

"Good luck!" Otoya and the rest sent their wishes to them.

"We'll be back before you know it!" Reiji sends us a wink while the rest just smiles.

The plane takes off to their first destination.

"Now." I look at STARISH before me. "Let's also do our best!"
