"Finally!" I jump on my bed face first and immediately got comfortable.

Today I had nothing planned. No job, no meetings, nothing! I debated on sleeping the entire day but it decided otherwise. I dress up and head towards the gym to keep my body in shape. When I enter I saw familiar faces.

"Syo! Ranmaru!" I greet them.

"Oh?" Ranmaru looks at me skeptically.

"Melody!" Syo waves me over to where he is.

"You two working out?" I set my stuff down and began stretching.

"We met one another here." Syo takes a sip of his water.

"Doesn't your place have a gym?" I ask Ranmaru.

"They're doing maintenance so I can't work out there." He continues his reps.

"Ohhh...how about the others?"

"Ren and Otoya are joining later." Syo gets back to his workout.

"They're busy." Ranmaru takes a break. "Tomorrow you free?"

"Why? You taking me on a date?" I tease.

"In your dreams." Ranmaru grinned, not affected by my teasing. "Reiji and the others want to discuss the song."

"Ohh? Want to add something?"

"Yeah."

"Okay then. Tomorrow afternoon I'll stop by." I take a mental note of it.

I let them continue their workout in peace, while I start mine. Doing the usual routine but with heavier weights proved to be much more difficult. In the middle of my workout, Ren and Otoya came over and had Syo supervise them. The day ends with a good meal and rest.

The next day arrives and I rang the doorbell at QUARTET NIGHT's residence. Ai opens the door and lets me in.

"I brought sweets." I give Ranmaru the paper bag.

"I shall make some tea." Camus gets off the couch and begins to brew whatever it is he wanted.

"I'll cut them." Ai offers.

"I'll set the plates!" Reiji excitedly acts.

We had delicious pastries with a perfect blend of tea. While enjoying our snacks, they discussed what they wanted to change with their song. The day passed by so quickly that it was already nighttime when we finished all their revisions.

"It has gotten so late." I look up at their beautiful view of the city.

"Will you be going?" Ai asked.

"Yeah, I probably should." I pack up my things and got up. "Thanks for having me guys. I'll send a copy to you all once I finish adding some stuff."

"Here." Ranmaru hands me a paper bag. I peeked in to see some snacks.

"For me?" I ask just to make sure.

"Yeah. It's kind of a thank you gift from all of us." He looks away blushing.

"Aww thank you guys." I bow to them. "I'll be finishing your song tomorrow thanks to these!"

"Melody!" Reiji calls me before I closed their door.

"Hm?"

"We'll make you ours." He smirks, confidence was seen in everyone.

"If you say so." I giggle and head home.

The next day came and I spent the entire time inside the studio creating their song with a music producer in the company to assist me. Finally, just before it got dark we finished their demo with a few vocals sung by me. I called over QUARTET NIGHT to come to visit tomorrow so that they can hear the songs themselves. I sent them a teaser of their song and went on my day.

They arrive early at the studio the next day.

"Excited aren't we?" I tease them as they came in with disheveled appearances and out of breath.

"Can we hear it?!" Reiji excitedly asks.

"Of course! Here!" I force them to sit down while listening to it.

The song plays and their eyes widened. Some bob their head to the beat, while some tapped their feet. The song ends and they look at me in awe.

"That was incredible." Ai smiles.

"Truly a song worthy for a king." Camus praises.

"We'll definitely rock the stage with this!" Ranmaru got up way too excited.

"Melody." Reiji takes both my hands. "We'll perfect this even more. Then we'll win!"

"The others still don't have their songs. Are you sure you can win?" I challenge them.

"Of course!" Ranmaru raises my chin. "We're the best after all."

"Statistically, QUARTET NIGHT is higher in the rankings this week." Ai nods.

"I'm looking forward to the lyrics you all make. Make good use of my song okay?" I grin at them.

With that, I left and let them work on the song themselves. I check my schedule for tomorrow because I'm free for the rest of the day.

"I'll be working with...Van and Ren." For some reason, just the thought of working with them already makes me tired. "Maybe I'll chill for today."

And so I spent the rest of my day relaxing before a seemingly stressful day tomorrow.
