"Nanami!!!" I run up to my sister and tackle her in a hug.

"Melody!" We manage to stable ourselves as we still continue to hug each other. "I've missed you too."

"Honestly!" I sob. "I've been working so much I couldn't even call you."

"I could tell." Nanami pats my back. "I've seen you and the guys everywhere recently."

"It's because of that SSS concert thing." I sigh.

We meet at my place and head on out to a mall with my poor attempt of a disguise. Today is only girls day! I wanted to spend time with my sister and forget my responsibilities for even just a day.

We arrive at a relatively high-class mall so that we could be safe and shop freely.

"Ughh!" I look at the stores with what feels like stars in my eyes. "It's been so long since I went out."

"Instead of looking." Nanami pulls me along with her. "Let's go in and check some stuff out!"

We shop till we literally drop. Nanami bought me some things, I bought her some as well, and overall we bought ourselves a lot of things. To take a long-deserved break, we head to a coffee shop and relaxed.

"So how are you really?" Nanami looks at me worriedly.

"I don't know really." I start off. "But I do know that I'm pissed at Uncle!"

"I am too!" Nanami nods. "I mean how could he just give you away like that?!"

"Right?!?" We both share a sigh. "Honestly, I can't tell what's going on his mind nor will he tell me."

"Rumors say that you made a deal with him right?"

"Yes but you see." So I explain to her that Uncle's end of the deal was only said then and there. In front of thousands of people.

"But that's really bold of you." Nanami gives me a small smile. "I know how much you love singing with them and even new people. Oh, how you've grown."

"Hey! We're not that far apart in age." I feel myself blush and look away from her. "But honestly, I really did it for myself. I can't perform knowing that deep down I want STARISH to win."

"Even I could tell that."

"I mean again it's nothing against HEAVENS or even QUARTER NIGHT. I like their groups and their members as well. So far at least. What I really want is for their talents to shine and to let the music speak for themselves." I sigh again. "But it's different when you grow with someone from the starting block. Like, it's been a few years since we graduated though it feels like it was just yesterday."

"I understand, but oh were the days when they were fighting over you." Nanami teases.

"Oh come on." I hide my face in embarrassment.

We talk for a long while before we noticed that it was getting late. Fighting over the bill, I was finally able to pay and head out.

"Promise you'll contact me if anything comes up?" Nanami holds my hands.

"Promise." I give her a big hug.

"Also, try not to worry so much okay?" I just shrug. "You'll do great. As you always do."

"Thanks, sis. You take care too okay?" I squeeze her one last time before heading home. I offered her a ride but her boyfriend was going to come to get her.

The day ends with me falling into a deep sleep.

A few days after that I had to go to a meeting with HEAVENS in their agency building, Raging Entertainment, to have formal introductions with each other as I was going to compose their songs. The one we had backstage was just between us after all.

I arrive at their building entrance looking for our meeting room.

"Uhm..." I walk to the front desk timidly. "Hi, I'm Melody. Can you point me to where uhh...building 2...Room 386?" I squint at my phone making sure that I was right.

"Oh right, this way." Before she could even get out of her seat someone behind me spoke.

"There is no need for that." I look and see Eiichi with Kira and Nagi.

"You guys!" I quickly thank the lady and walk up to them. "I'm not late am I?"

"Not reallyyy." Nagi looks me up and down. "We just wanted to bring you there ourselves."

"Oh? Why is that?"

"W-Well! You see..uh...this place is-" For some reason, Nagi stutters and begins to turn red.

"You might get lost," Kira spoke. "So we came to help."

"Do I look that much of an airhead to you? No, wait. Don't answer that." I giggle. "But thank you. That saves me the trouble of finding the room."

"Let's go. The others are already there." Eiichi leads the way while Nagi and sometimes Kira shows and explains their facilities that we pass by.

We stop at an exceptionally large door, compared to the ones before. Eiichi opens the door and reveals a large meeting room with the rest of HEAVENS waiting.

"You guys took your time." The guy I remember, Yamato spoke.

"We got tired waiting for you Melody." The man named Van sends a wink my way. This feels all too familiar.

"Don't flirt with her right away Van." Eiji, the younger brother of the Otori siblings, kindly scolds.

"The stars are shining rather brightly today." The one named Shion spoke. Again, I'm getting familiar vibes.

"Hello again. My name is Melody and I will be composing your songs for the duet project as well as your competition song." I bow to them respectfully. "I look forward to working with you all."

"Us too." Kira gave me a small smile.

"You're pretty lucky to be working with us." Nagi grins.

"I expect nothing but the best!" Eiichi smiles, rather creepily.

The meeting goes over smoothly and we end it as soon as we saw fit. I bid them farewell and head home with new learnings about their members' personalities.

I have an inkling that the duet project won't go as smoothly as I thought it out to be.
