No Matter What

"You're late." Ai greeted me as I entered their luxurious apartment.

"What do you mean?" I look around and saw no one. "Where are they?"

"Reiji went out." Ai sighs. "The two are in their rooms."

"Mind explaining how this all started?" I sat on the couch and made myself comfortable.

So apparently this all started because Ranmaru used Camus' sugar, then it escalated because Camus used Ranmaru's bananas. From there, their fight just continued to escalate into insulting each other. Reiji didn't break their fight as how he usually would do. Then suddenly he shouted 'I can't do this anymore. Let's end this.' Then he exited the apartment and has yet to return.

"You guys." I pinch my nose, quite irritated.

Remembering Ms.Ringo's words again, Reiji keeps the group together. If he's gone the group will most likely fall apart.

"So what now?" Ai laid back on the couch and doesn't seem to worry. "He'll come around sometime. He's done this before and he always came back right away."

Though I really doubted it this time, I decided to trust his word.

"Camus! Ranmaru!" I bang on their door and they both open it with irritated faces. "I'm not letting this meeting go to waste."

With enough force, I managed to get the three of them to work on the teaser for their song. After all that, Reiji still hasn't come back.

"I have to go now." I pack up my things and look at them one last time. "Update me if Reiji comes back."

I left their apartment and headed home. I tried calling Reiji but his phone was out of reach. Again, I sigh. It's not unusual for groups to fight at all, it's totally normal, but somehow I have a gut feeling that Reiji wasn't going to come back on his own. They're adults they should know how to handle these kinds of things so I just shook it off and went to bed.

Or so I thought.

It's been 3 days and Reiji still hasn't returned nor contacted anyone. He canceled all his jobs for those days, based on what Mr.Hyuga said.

"Stop being stubborn!" I can't believe I was scolding people older than me. "I called someone to talk to you guys...This is getting out of hand."

I signal them to follow me and they did, silently.

"Hyuga..." Ranmaru looked shocked to see him.

"I'll be outside if you n-"

"No, you stay." Mr.Hyuga states. His usual friendly tone disappeared. "You were dragged into this so you stay."

"Why have you brought us here?" Camus raised a brow at me.

"Mr.Hyuga will explain." I sit back as I've already heard of this in advance.

"Reiji called." He starts off.

"He did?" Ranmaru's eyes widened.

"Where has he been?" Ai sounds even a little bit concerned.

"He said something strange. 'Sorry, but I don't think I can handle this anymore.' he said." Mr.Hyuga stood up and faced them.

The three were shocked. I was too when I first heard of it. Reiji isn't the type to give up easily, but when you push people to their limits. They will break. But somehow deep inside, I knew it wasn't going to end like this. Not for them.

"He called me too." They turn their heads in my direction. "He told me the same thing. Reiji is tired." I study their expressions carefully.

"Individually, you are all exceptional, even outstanding." Mr.Hyuga looked straight into their eyes, wanting to get the message across. "But right now, you should be focusing your efforts as a group."
