Another performance finished. We bowed to the audience which erupted into more cheers. Which was louder comparing the two? I can't tell.
We head back and begun to catch our breath.
"Definitely no regrets." I smile as I finished a bottle of water in a matter of seconds.
"Now for the next group-"
"Next group?!?" We all look at each other. From what we just heard there were just us 2 groups participating.
Before we could talk about anything my make-up artist and stylist carries me away with no warning. I ask them multiple times as to what was going on and they just said get ready to sing one more song. What song?!? With who?!?
They finish me up and I looked at myself once more. They made me wear a designer top with a loose blazer in top and white shorts, plus accessories.
I still have no idea what was going on.
They lead me backstage where I met up with QUARTET NIGHT and STARISH. As I thought, were just as clueless as me.
"What is the meaning of all this?" Camus even looks pissed.
"We weren't informed of this." Tokiya shakes his head.
"Then again when have they ever told us anything." Ranmaru clicks his tongue.
"That is true..." Natsuki ponders a bit.
"I wonder who they are..." Otoya thinks as well.
"I have a hunch but-"
"LET US NOW WELCOME BACK FOR THE LAST TIME!!! MELODYYYY!!!" I quickly bowed to the guys and head on stage.
"AND! Let us welcome back the fiery group...HEAVENS!"
I widened my eyes at this. I was going to sing with HEAVENS?!?
Suddenly the light dimmed and I hear a very familiar melody. It was the song I composed for them before! It felt different than usual but it was still the same melody.
In the darkness, I could make out 7 people suddenly appearing right in front of me. Wait a minute....7!?!

I couldn't process anything right now as I had to perform so suddenly. So I focused on the song and follow their steps.

Through the entirety of that song, I managed to hold my note and sing with them almost perfectly. Some of them also were showing their moves in front of me so that I could follow them. It was so subtle and clean that the audience couldn't even tell.
"What in the world..." I whispered underneath my breath. Exhausted and very much confused.
The announcer said some things but it just passed through my ears. Before I knew it I was sharing the stage with STARISH, QUARTET NIGHT, and HEAVENS. Still confused, I looked at STARISH and they just gave me the same look back.
I had a gut feeling something unpleasant was going to happen.
"MUAAAHAHAHAHAAHAH!" There it is.
Uncle suddenly appears in the dust of smoke and beside him was Raging Otori. What in the f-
"SPLENDIDDD!" Raging Otori and Uncle jumps down at the same time right in front of us. They grab microphones and spoke.
"Welcome the groups competing to perform for the SSS concertttt!" The crowd suddenly cheers.
"Melody will be the sole composer for their competition song!" Uncle points to me. I suddenly remember our deal.
The crowd began to whisper asking if I was going to sing with them all as I have done in the past. I already knew the answer to that.
An announcer hands me a microphone as if knowing I was going to speak.
"Hello again everyone!" I greet the crowd and they greet me right back. "Thank you for always supporting us and everyone here on stage!" I bow at the crowd.
Now how do I break it to them...
"I know you all want to see the best of each group and I believe my song can do that," I state proudly. "But for the competition...I will NOT be singing with any group. I will only be composing their songs."
