Alvin

It's not normal that I get a call to go back to the district, but when Adam calls and tells me that Jay had a panic attack, I leave the scene. I walk into the district and Platt calls me over to her desk.

"Jay's in Hank's office, most likely asleep on the couch," Trudy tells me

"Got it," I reply and walk upstairs

Adam motions to Hank's office and I gently open the door. I see Jay laying on the couch with an arm over his eyes.

"Hey kiddo," I speak softly

The blue eyes that everyone fell in love with the day Jay joined this unit, flutter open.

"Al, what are you doing here?" Jay asks

"Adam called me, and no one's here but me and you, Adam won't hear a thing, you know what I am to you," I tell Jay

This is where another huge secret comes in. I took Jay in when he was 7, he was out on the streets, cold and alone. At the time Will lived with their mother in New York, and their father kicked Jay out. The only people who know this are Will and Hank. Behind closed doors, Jay calls me dad and not in the same context as what he calls Mouse.
