Mouse

I take Jay from Hank and hold his head on my lap and grab one of his hands while the other runs through his hair.

"Daddy." Jay says

I freeze and Hank looks at me.

"Baby boy we'll go home soon, I promise." I tell Jay with comfort

"You, me, my office, tomorrow morning, your going to explain this." Voight says with a slight growl that causes Jay to whimper

"Sorry kiddo." Voight tells Jay and continues to check Jay over

"It looks like he's just bruised, give him some painkillers when you get home and I want to put him on desk duty for a few weeks." Voight tells me

"We'll do, thanks." I reply

I stand up and hoist Jay up on my hip. I walk to the van I drover over in and drive us home. When we get home I get Jay out of his clothes and into a onesie.

"I'm sorry Mouse, I didn't wanna do it but I had to." Jay sobs

"I know baby, you had to so what you had to do, I'm not mad." I say pulling Jay to my chest

I get us to my bedroom and get us to my bed. We lay down and I pop the pacifier I have into Jay's chest before going to sleep.
