This is my apology now, this chapter POV wise is kinda all over the place but I couldn't figure out another way to do it and I tried my best to keep it organized
Katy POV
I get done walking him out and I get back to my room and start to clean up. Eventually I get done and go back to my office for a second to just decompress. I am having one of the worst headaches I've ever had. It's not normal. I have one patient left so I decided I would finish them and see how I feel afterwards. I may just cancel dinner, well I'm gonna have to if this headache doesn't go away. Luckily the last patient is just a consultation. I finish them up and head back to my office. I get to my office and decide to lay on the couch and take a quick nap before I get working on updating charts.
"Hey" "Hey" "Hey" "wake up sleepy head" Niall said
"Omg I slept through dinner" I said.
"You're fine we decided to bring the dinner to you" Harry said.
"What are you doing here why didn't you just go get dinner with out me" I said.
"And why would we do that" Harry said
"I don't know I just figured you had enough of me already" I said
"Oh never" Harry said
"Hold on I'm gonna excuse myself" I said getting up to go to the bathroom so I could take some headache medication without harry knowing because if he knew I had a headache he would not allow me to work and I couldn't let that happen
Niall POV
"Mate I think somethings wrong with her" I said
"I know she didn't seem herself today and kinda seemed off her rocker" H said
"I just cant put my finger on it" I said
"It could just be how she reacts to the chemo. Everyone reacts differently and maybe this is just how it is. She also had it not too long ago so her body is probably still recovering I would say give her a couple days and then see how she is" H said
" thanks Haz" I said
"oh no problem you know I love you two like family" H said
We set all the food up and set the table and she finally makes her way out of the bathroom. She looks really pale but I refrain from saying anything because it could just be the lighting of her office.
"Hey bug I got you Pasta, your favorite" I said
(Note:nialls nickname for her is bug short for katybug just so that makes sense)
"Oh thanks I'm excited" she said
She sits down at the table and starts to eat. Eats slowly but that's better then nothing...Right? After about half the plate is gone she gets up and sprints to the bathroom, so naturally I follow her. I run in and she is throwing up so I get on the floor with her and grab her hair with my left hand and rub her back with my right while giving her words of encouragement. As she is throwing up it hits me that this is probably going to be our life for the foreseeable future.
"it's ok bug get it all out" I said
she rests her head oh the bowl of toilet
"you can go finish dinner your foods gonna get cold" she said
"absolutely not" i said
she starts again
at this point harry is standing in the door way of the bathroom with a puzzled look on his face
