Katy POV
it wasn't long before I was in the bathroom puking my guts out. I wipe it off and get looking presentable if my friends are here. I walk downstairs and into the kitchen and to my surprise I see all my friends. There's just one I wish I didn't have to see. I go around hugging everyone and once it gets to him I tell him in sorry for how I acted. He apologizes and says he sorry as well and it wasn't professional of him. Niall tells me why everyone's over and they are over for one last dinner before i'm on formula for the feeding tube.
The night was pretty enjoyable. It makes me sad that I won't be seeing my Noel, Char, and Chelsea everyday anymore. I didn't realize how much of a family we had become. but i have a check up coming up soon anyways and I have to go more often because the cancer anyways.
Ash ended up staying the night and is gonna go with Niall and I tomorrow. Niall and I snuggled together while we watch movies the rest of the night.
I wake up and run to the bathroom to realize is 6am. That's the longest i've held food down. I of course was puking and was so ready for this to be over I'm so tired of the early mornings puking and after every.single.thing. I eat it's coming back up. Niall and Ash of course is there with me giving me positive words and encouraging me. Once I was done I just fell into his arms. I felt so weak that no matter what I tried to do I was just weak. He carried me back to bed and I couldn't get back to sleep so I rested my head on Nialls chest while he sung to me and I soon drifted off to sleep.
I wake up and it's already time to leave. I can't believe I slept in so late that never happens. I get up and I head down stairs and see ash eating breakfast. "let's go we have to get going or we will be late" I say with a sense of urgency. "oh shoot i forgot"she says while grabbing her food and running out the door. We finally arrive at the hospital, we get up to Harry's office and he wasn't in there so we just waited for him in his office.
"Katy! I've been looking all over for you!" H says
"Well i've been in here the whole time" I say
"Katy you can't keep just showing up to your appointments and going to my office you are gonna have to wait in the waiting room like everyone" H says
"What I don't get VIP treatment for being a VIP patient"
"Who said you are VIP?" H questions
"me, i decided i'm now calling the shots"
"eh don't think that's your decision to make miss"
"it is now, anyways what are we doin"
"you are gonna go sit in the waiting room and wait until we have your room ready"
"no! then i would have to actually be a patient"
"well i guess if the shoe fits" H says sarcastically
i start to walk moopy out of the office and into the waiting room. I guess we're back to square one
"Horan,Katy" I hear looking up from my phone seeing Ashton in the door way calling my name
"oh funny seeing you here again" I said
"I work here?"
"that's the point Sherlock"
I walk back into a room and Ashton throws a gown at me with the regular come get me when your done
After Ashton and I just talking and catching up with each other Harry walks in and...for lack of better words I almost pooped my pants. I don't think i've ever been more scared of Harry. This was the first time I have seen him in a white coat and it's hit me that he's like actually a doctor. Ha, i'm like actually scared. I grab Ash's hand and she takes note of the facts she can tell by my sudden mood change that i'm scared.
"Ok kate (he only uses that nickname on me when he can tell i'm not my normal self) come with me and we'll head down to radiology"
I hop down off the table and hug Ash and Ni and grab Harry's hand and walk with him. He ended up picking me up bridal style and carrying me while i had my head in his chest and arm around his neck. We enter radiology and he lays me down on a hard bed and gets me warm blankets. The nurses come over and ya know do the vitals and all that while harry scrubs in. While waiting on harry I found out I went to college with one of the nurses, we were in the same anatomy class. It's a small world. Harry later walks back in with a radiology tech and he sets everything up. Harry could hear my heart rate rapidly beating and he looks at me.
"I hate that thing,it's impossible to hide things from you with it"
"no need to hide your nerves from me"
"I know but now I look weak"
"stop with that nonsense, you're just as strong as the day I met you and if not stronger"
"you're just trying to calm me down you don't mean it"
"no I do, you've all ready been through hell and back and you found out you had cancer like 2-4 weeks ago. You even went back to work while you had cancer. Sounds bad ass to me"
"I'm tried harry
"Fine go to sleep it will all be over when you wake up"
I start to close my eyes when harry whispers to me
"sweet dreams kate"
