Part 23

Katy POV

"Great!"I said
"i also have something I want to talk to you guys about that happened while you were gone"

"oh?" Ni said

"it's not bad but it's just a change, Harry and I had a conversation and following that conversation I have decided to change doctors, Harry said he would try and get ashton for me but there's no promises. I just decided it that while I go through this I need him to be my friend not my doctor." I said

"well i'm sure that decision was hard for you to make so I have full confidence in you" Ni said and Ashlyn  agreeing

A/N: I'm just gonna start putting ash in here as Ashlyn because I am getting so confused writing this with the whole Ash and Ashton thing

A nurse came in after that and started my feeding and taught me how to do it, Ashlyn and Niall started putting up decorations while that happened and then Harry marched in again, this time not in a chipper mood.

"Ashton said that he can take you in, He is going to come down here and talk to you"

"Ok and are you going to be in a pissy attitude the rest of the night"

and then he turned around and walked away

"so I guess that answers that question"

the rest of the night went well, Ashton came in and talked to us about how after chemo tomorrow he wants to run a bunch of tests, which doesn't surprise me. I was getting tired so I decided just to go to sleep

The next day 

I woke up the next day to Niall right by my side and Ashlyn over on the couch and I thought to myself for a moment how blessed I am but that was cut short to Ashton marching into my room wanting me to eat before chemo... I don't blame him just wish my moment of silence would've lasted longer. After todays round he wants x-rays to see if its getting better, and honestly I'm pretty nervous because I feel like even tho we just started I really want to see results, and even though he already told me its probably too early to tell Im just such an over achiever that I want there to be a difference.

I walked to chemo, Niall came with me and Ashlyn went to my house to do some housekeeping and all that fun stuff. I felt fine except for the constant nausea I stood back up to my room and you would've sworn I got hit by a bus with how bad I just stood there and spun. Needless to say Ashton got me a wheelchair. The day went by pretty slow, the x-ray showed no change but Im not surprised. Harry came and visited which was nice but he is till petty about me changing doctors, but knowing harry he will get over it quickly.

Ashlyn came back and grabbed some decorations for the room so its not so bare and sad. They brought in a cot so Niall could sleep on that instead of with me. Just because I have been so hot all day, I didn't want anyone sleeping with me. 

I woke up to a strange pain in the side of my stomach it lasted at least a minute, not wanting to wake anyone I just stayed silent and tried to go back to sleep. I was so close until I felt it again, I didn't understand what was happening all these situations started playing out in my head. I walked outside to the nurses station bc if I called them to the room I would've waked Ni and Ashlyn. The walk there hurt like hell. I asked them to page Ashton and that I would meet him in his office. Of course they agreed so that started the journey to his office. Luckily it was on the 7th floor and Im on the 9th floor. Once I got to his office it was locked so I just waited outside of it and a man with dark curly hair approached me

"Excuse me miss are you lost?"

"No, Im waiting on Ashton to get here, I had them page him"

"Are you ok? Do you need help"

"No, thats why I had them page Ashton. 3 am isn't a pleasant time to be awake"

"Here let me unlock it for you"

"thank you, will he be ok with that"

"Oh probably not but he can get over it"

Right as the man said that Ashton entered not even noticing me just staring at the man

"Calum why did you unlock my office?"

"Because you had a patient sitting outside of it when I was on my way to my office." The man said as he pointed to me 

"Oh my Katy what are you doing awake? Did you walk here? Are you alright?" Ashton said with a worried look and tone

"Uh no Im not fine or else I wouldn't have walked all this way. I can't sleep because I have this horrible pain in my lower abdomen and it won't go away. And before you tell me to go back to my room so you can asses me. No I don't want to wake Niall or Ashlyn up. They have already had to deal with enough lets let them sleep."

"alright them, Calum sounds like I will need your help, lets find you a wheelchair and get you to an exam room."

on our way there I realized what day it is...My grandpa's birthday. My grandpa was easily my biggest fan and supporter. ever since I was born he would film me. Now I have like these home diarys of my life. thinking about that started a tear to fall from my eye. I wiped it away quickly hoping the boys wouldn't notice.

Hey yall sorry for not uploading anything in literally forever, ever since school started I have had like no free time. Anyways the song at the top is where I got the inspo for the last paragraph, its such a good song I 10/10 recommend.
